Loved dining at the Chop House. I found it to be an upscale dining experience. Wait staff were polite and attentive. The food was a culinary delight. The restaurant is pleasantly quiet adding to an enjoyable experience.
Quite possibly the best steakhouse I've been to. Top notch service and everything cooked to perfection. Looking forward to coming back!
Our servers were amazing, the food was delicious and the surprise at the end of the meal was so nice.
The professional and friendly staff, the food and the ambience were exceptional which made for enjoyable and memorable evening. Keep up the good work!
I've been to this restaurant a handful of times now and I've never had this poor of an experience. We had 2 waiters. Michael was excellent and attentive. The other made us feel rushed and had an attitude when asked a simple question about one of the sides. It was very off putting. The food was over salted to the point I couldn't even enjoy my lobster bisque and it was what I was looking forward to. The oysters were to die for as usual. However, something left me in the bathroom for hours the next morning.
Filet MELTED in my mouth (med rare). Lots of steak options of all different prices and cuts. Grapefruit drink (deep eddy's grapefruit vodka and Pama Pomegranate liquor) was on the menu last year but it was NOT on the menu this year however, when I asked, the server said it could be made so of course, I got it because it is the BEST drink ever. Lots of Gluten free options and accommodations available. No GF bread but no biggie, you will NOT hungry. Amazing and attentive servers. Husband got gluten filled Chocolate turtle cake and it was HUGE. Like seriously, a gigantic serving of cake, easily shareable among 4+ people. I did not have dessert because I was full but there were a couple gluten free options. This place is pricey, but it can vary depending on what you choose. That being said, it is well worth it. Food is amazing! I would say second best steak I have ever had in my life. I have never had filet mignon melt in my mouth. Highly recommend.
We had a reservation and were seated on time. Our server was friendly, helpful and helped us keep our dinner on time as we also had show tickets. The food was good and prepared as expected.
The French Onion soup is amazing. I order it anytime I see it and I’m constantly disappointed. Not here. It’s fabulous.

For context, I know how to make a tenderloin fillet steak that is easily worth $100 per plate. The problem is, when I eat out, I am unable to find a restaurant that can match that level of quality.
We both ordered the tenderloin fillet's, ordered medium-rare, and I was not looking forward to when the steaks arrive and I feel the top and can tell immediately it is over cooked. Because the price they command for that steak, it would be unacceptable to not deliver it to the table a perfect medium-rare.
Thankfully, that *did not* happen. Both were perfect medium-rare, with an impressive crust.
It comes wiht a Bernasie sauce, but they have specialty sauces that have an up-charge, and one was a mediera demi-glace sauce. Very similar to how I serve these steaks, and it was absolutely perfect.
You don't get a side with the meal, its an up-charge. If money is an object, this isn't a good pick. But both our sides were well worth the up-charge.
We did not have reservations, so we got seated in the bar. Not really a problem, but I saw a lot opf empty tables in the main dining rooms.
Service was very good, as we were well attended to throughout.
There was literally nothing I can nit-pick about thsi visit.
That said, this is one visit. Obviously I cannot speak for consistency.
I also want to addres the reviewer that left a one star review because they ordered a well-done beef fillet, and complained it was a hockey puck. That is exactly why you don't order fillets if you must have it well done.
Cooked anywhere beyond medium-rare, the texture and flavor and presentation are all negatively impacted when cooking beyond medium rare. I have been perfecting this craft for over 40 years.
If you cannot eat beef fillet medium-rare, then please don't order it. Prime rib or strip steak is for you.

We went for my husbands birthday and Chop House surprised him with dessert! Everyone was super friendly and food was EXCELLENT!!!
Overall, the chophouse was a decent restaurant. It didn't knock my socks off, but it also wasn't terrible. It was sort of middle of the road masquerading as fine dining. I wouldn't seek it out, but I also wouldn't be upset if I was invited to supper there. Service was OK. Ambience was heavily influenced by the casino. Overall, forgettable.
The salad and bisque were good. The sides were good. The steaks were over seasoned to the point of ruining a great cut of meat. The servers were polite but barely checked in during dinner so the steak couldn't be addressed. There were several people overseeing the dining area but while physically present they were obviously mentally elsewhere. The portions and prices would be fine if the kitchen understood what a good steak needs.
Always a great and satisfying experience. Excellent food, wait staff always makes you feel like family and 2 fantastic bartenders. They strive for excellence.
