I just came from the bakery. I bought a garlic bread. When I come home and open ,in aluminum foil and the shopping bag was a bag full of dirty towels instead of the bread.I call left a message and nobody call me back. I also sent a message on messenger and nothing.
AMAZING bread. Beautiful pastries. Definitely will be back, even though it's a good distance from home for me.

We purchased chocolate pecan pie for thanksgiving.
Also purchased sourdough, multigrain and sweet pumpkin bread
Tomato Pie was very good; tomato paste was tangy and delicious, bread had great texture and was baked golden brown.
Green olive roll, focaccia bread, sour cherry pastry and chocolate orange croissant were all amazing.
Glazed fastnacht was pretty good.
Peanut butter cookie too thick and dried out. Pear almond tart was bland.

As often as we can, we go to the Emmaus Farmers Market and will happily wait in line to make always scrumptious selections. Always amazing and always served with kindness and a smile.

Upon walking into this charming bakery, we were greeted by delicious aromas and a lovely display of freshly baked goods. It was hard to make a choice! I settled for a yummy scone and my husband got a sticky bun. We thoroughly enjoyed our treats!

Poor customer service, was not greeted at all upon arrival to the empty shop. Everything was also extremely overpriced. $5 for a chocolate croissant in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania? No thanks. Smelled really good but I went next door instead for something sweet.

After 5 attempts to buy from here past several months, I finally stopped by to purchase baked goods and a loaf of sourdough bread.
The two young clerks worked well together: one pulling items while other calculating the total.
One apple strudel, one blueberry corn muffin, one glazed cinnamon roll and one sour cherry Danish plus a square sour dough bread and the 'to be baked' long mozzarella & more French loaf, $35.
The bread was airy, light and not super sour doughy.
Out of all the baked goods, the apple strudel was best. Nice flavor from filling. $6
The glazed bun needed more cinnamon syrup(?) inside, tad dry. $5
The danish was good. $5
The corn muffin top needed more moisture. $5
I'll return for more bread.

Every single thing is the best, canelle, turnovers , danishes are amazing and the cruffin is a must try. Crostini are of the hook. I go to the store on Linden street and/or the shop at Emmaus farmers market every week . Also she offers sandwiches at the store on linden street which are đ„
The breads are on the lighter side and taste ok. More of a supermarket with a bakery quality vs a standalone bakery, but more expensive than a supermarket. I donât see myself returning.

The first time I went there they were closed when they were supposed to be open. This time we drove an hour to get there for the blue cheese bread and they were sold out by 10:45 am. The selection was very limited. I bought a mini loaf for $5 and it was just ok. The olive rolls were good but not spectacular.

The bread is fabulous and I try to support small local business when I can. The staff is very helpful but I have to remind them to change their gloves after handling money and before touching food. On another visit I had to remind her to change her gloves again after cleaning the sidewalk outside and coming in to handle the food. They clearly do not practice good hygiene unless asked to do so.

The best bakery in the Lehigh Valley. Their cruffins are perhaps the best things I have ever eaten and their bread is delicious. This is my first stop for festive bread and pastries.
Dietary restrictions: A couple nice gluten-free offerings for gluten-free guests.

It pains me to write this review. Iâve enjoyed and supported this business for many years. However, recently, Iâve discovered the âdark sideâ of this business and itâs owner. The business is scamming each and every customer by âpaddingâ each and every transaction. If you are not familiar with the term âpaddingâ, this is how it works. A customer comes in and selects, for example, four items. The counter employee says the bill total is $16.00, but the actual bill total is just $15.00. So the bill, in this example, was âpaddedâ by overcharging the customer one dollar. The way they get away with this is that they rely on the fact that customers donât âdo the mathâ in their head to calculate the actual total, so when the bill is padded, the customer is none the wiser. The first time this happened to me I thought the counter employee made an honest mistake. The second time, I became skeptical. The third time, I was sure something was awry. Then I began documenting each and every padded transaction. After getting ripped off numerous times, I confronted the owner about the latest transaction at hand and she returned a dollar to me without even checking the counter employeeâs math or my math. Immediately I suspected that she knew what was going on and that she was directing the scam. Then I didnât go back for a couple of months and then this morning I went back and my bill was padded once again. Today there were two new/different counter employees vs. last time. That tells me that the owner is, in fact, directing the scam because someone had to train the new employees on how to pad the bills. Because Iâve documented the âpadded transactionsâ many times, I have irrefutable proof that this is a continuous and ongoing scam. The owner may also be overcharging more than a dollar per transaction, especially if the bill is a large one with numerous items being purchased. As if all of my many documented padded transactions werenât bad enough, how many times over the years was I ripped off and not even aware of the scam? Oh, and by the way, this is not only happening at the Linden Street store, but also at the Easton Farmers Market stall.Iâm writing this because I donât want well intentioned, innocent, hard-working people to get scammed like me. With inflation, food is already expensive, so to add to the âfood cost burdenâ by scamming people, well, thatâs just despicable. Iâve been exposed to crime several times in my life and itâs always been difficult to face the consequences of the activities of dishonest and ill-intentioned people. Evil exists in the world, weâve all seen it, but somehow you always think âI wonât be a victim of crimeâ or it âdoesnât happen where I live.â So itâs particularly disheartening and disturbing to find a common criminal in a local bakery of all places scamming unsuspecting people day in and day out. She cheats loyal customers with a smile on her face. And she continues to do it, without remorse, even after sheâs been exposed and confronted with the scam. It just sickens me. Yes, some people have a bright smile but they have a black heart. I guess we all now know where the owner got the money to buy her big new baking oven! Donât support this despicable business!
Always super helpful and friendly. All the items have been delicious. Highly recommend the frozen roasted onion garlic mozzarella bread, any of their cruffins and the tomato pie. Top notch. Owner has always been friendly.
