Not our first visit, and definitely not our last. Today's meal was a special Italian Buffet. From salad to dessert and everything in between, it was all delicious and served with pride. It's always a wonderful experience here.
We had a great lunch! There was a wide variety of delicious food. The service was very good. It was great to see the students learning as they are prepping and serving. They are doing a great job!! Thank you.

The food was excellent and unique in mix of ingredients. The plates were creative and beautifully done. The server was helpful and patient with answering all of our questions. We hope to return soon! Thank you

We enjoyed a very good lunch a few days ago. I started with the miso soup which was a bit salty but had a great depth of flavor with ginger spiced tofu. I then had the crispy crab cakes which included hush puppies and a very generous portion of delicious French fries and an unexpected addition of mango chutney - delicious! My husband got the shrimp & grits, which even though it was delicious, it was a much smaller portion. (He ate a lot of mine, but keep that in mind if you're really hungry.) We did not want dessert but did get the mocha lava cake to go - make sure you order this dessert either way lol. Finally our server Katie was terrific and we really enjoyed ourselves
Dinner took a lot longer than we were expecting. There seem to be long legs in between courses (we did the three-course meal). And it was definitely was not typical because we saw people come in after us that left before us.  Also, the shrimp and grits was salty, and I didn't like the fact that the tails were on the shrimp.

Everything from the service to the food was top notch. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was perfectly timed and prepared. I had the chicken breast which was succulent and delicious and my wife had the crab cakes which were exploding with flavor. The portion sizes are very generous. I'm a big eater but I was barely able to finish all 3 courses (appetizer, entree, and dessert). Best of all, after dinner, Chef Tyler was kind enough to give us a behind the scenes tour of his kitchen where the students were preparing their masterpieces. It was a busy yet calm environment, as everything was tidy and well-organized. We will definitely be back. It's a relaxed, gourmet dining experience that rivals all of the pricey restaurants in the Lehigh Valley, only it is better as it is student run and directly supports the culinary program at Northampton Community College.
Restaurant is brilliant. Been coming here for over 10 years and it never disappoints. The students do such a great job each time and the atmosphere is on point. Creativity in the menu is always on full display and you can tell the staff cares about giving you a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

At my request, my family of 4 celebrated my birthday here on a Wednesday evening. None of us had ever been here. Perfect choice. Everything exceeded my expectations. We were pleasantly surprised by the evening's amuse bouche, a one-bite Rueben-type sandwich Delish! My grilled lamb with sautéed veggies was a wonderful savory combo, and the presentation of my decadent birthday tiramisu was spectacular. Flavor wise, the evening's winner was my harissa glazed shrimp appetizer. So many surprising new flavors in every bite. Adding to our evening was the wonderful service. Our server was so friendly and happy to answer our questions. All in all: Hampton Winds, what a gem!

I came here for lunch today after reading many positive reviews on a local food group that I follow. This is absolutely a must try for anyone in the area. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left we had a fantastic experience. Our waitress, and the other people who were working were so friendly and fantastic. This is the best service we’ve had in a restaurant in a very, very long time. We each got three courses, lunch is al a carte. The prices are super reasonable, and the portions are generous. Everything was absolutely fantastic. You can tell a lot of care went into preparing these dishes. The restaurant is so cute and super clean. I absolutely will be back and encourage everybody to check this out!

I came here for lunch today after reading many positive reviews on a local food group that I follow. This is absolutely a must try for anyone in the area. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left we had a fantastic experience. Our waitress, and the other people who were working were so friendly and fantastic. This is the best service we've had in a restaurant in a very, very long time. We each got three courses, lunch is al a carte. The prices are super reasonable, and the portions are generous. Everything was absolutely fantastic. You can tell a lot of care went into preparing these dishes. The restaurant is so cute and super clean. I absolutely will be back and encourage everybody to check this out!

We have eaten at Hampton Winds several times and were always very happy, but this last time was a huge disappointment. All our food arrived at the table luke-warm at best. And my son's cappuccino arrived late and cold!
