The food here is phenomenal! The table had several appetizers and they were all excellent. I had the Jumbo Lump Crab Au Gratin and wow I was amazed at the flavor and richness of the cheese sauce. Went with the Lemoncello cake for desert and it was light and slightly sweet. Really good! The service was excellent and very attentive. I would like to have seen more wine selections, but was happy with the choices.

I had the seared tuna over the noodles with peanut sauce. It was fantastic! Lobster bisque was very good also, add the shot of sherry.

Husband had the lobster tail and rib eye special. Rib eye was expected of a rib eye. I had seafood combo broiled. Very good. Was a little disappointed that a garden salad wasn't included as a regular side anymore. It was an upcharge. And my dessert of absolutely delicious sho fly pie cheesecake was no longer an option. Huge disappointment!
The food is always so fresh and always tasty The waitress is so friendly and we love going there.

Took my wife and daughter here last night for a Valentines/ birthday dinner. I expected it to be far better than it was based on a recommendation from one of my friends. The Lobster Bisque soup and Cheesesteak eggroll appetizers were good, however it went downhill from there. My wife and daughter both ordered the Filet Mignon. Medium was overcooked for sure. The garlic potato side was very small and not noteworthy. I ordered the Salmon with the addition of crab. I would have expected the crab to be served on top of the salmon and baked as part of the dish...it was not. The crab was merely placed as a side as you would expect it to come directly out of a can and scooped into a souffle cup! I was looking to give my wife an enjoyable birthday dinner, but when she barely touches her food, I know there is a problem. We've been to and frequent a lot of very exceptional area restaurants...Apollo, Twisted Olive, Fiammas, Nonna Sulinas, The Tap Room, Three Oak, The River Grille. This was by far the most disappointing considering the $290 bill for three with no specialty drinks and tip. Seems to me a restaurant should be putting their best foot forward for special occasions like Valentine's Day...not production line quality.
It is good food but not worth the price.

It was our first time at Kingfish. Service was great. We had Kelly as our server. We had the calamari appetizer, it was very good, not rubbery like some places. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass woth mashed potato. She enjoyed it. I had the 12oz. NY Strip with onions and mushrooms, and a baked potato. The steak was cooked correctly, which is a big thing for me. I asked for mashed potato for my side but only fish entrees were served with mashed potatoes, which seemed a bit odd but, no big deal. We shared the Fried Apple Cheesecake dessert. It was warm and delicious. We enjoyed our meal. Service wasn't rushed, the different courses didnt come out right on top of each other either. It's worth a try if ypu want to try something new.

My husband and I stopped in here for dinner a few nights ago. We made a reservation and did not have any issues with being sat on time. The menu has a lot of your typical seafood offerings with a few extras added in. One thing that was a little disappointing about the menu was the lack of pricing in the cocktail section. We enjoy ordering cocktails sometimes, especially if it's a special occasion but when there isn't a price point for the cocktail menu we are less likely to indulge. I did get a cocktail, it was a bit disappointing- just tasted really watered down.
When the bill finally did come, the drink was $10. Not a bad price for a cocktail, even if it was a little watered down but had we known they were at that price point before ordering we probably both would have gotten one instead of just me.
As for the food, the lobster bisque was really good, the mashed potatoes were tasty, and the scallops had good flavor. My husband's steak was cooked to order but really fatty and chewy. It also had a strong charred flavor which overwhelmed the steak. We also shared a dessert. It was okay.
Our service was probably the spotlight. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. She was also very friendly.
Overall, The experience wasn't bad or good. It was fine. I probably wouldn't go back but I'm not mad about the experience either.
