Doesn't have that authentic Puerto Rican taste. Pernil can use some more seasoning and be left in oven a little longer. Arroz con gandule was ok beans ok and potato ball ok

Closed an hour early each time I go. Change your hours if that’s the case. One day I’ll east here to give an actual review.

Food is good, but the staff was arguing and in disagreement with eachother the entire time. I was also standing there for 5 minutes waiting to pay for 2 pastelillos that were already bagged and in front of me all because they were not working as a team.

Had a very pleasant experience in this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were great and understanding of the language difference (like another reviewer wrote.) Absolutely LOVED the pork. Will definitely make the 40 min drive to Bethlehem just to eat here.

Good food, the restaurant itself doesn't look so good inside needs a little work

My favorite restaurant in town. I just moved to Bethlehem from New York, and I've been sorely missing the excellent food available on almost every street corner back home. Then I tried La Tia restaurant. It was like being back in the Bronx again, having dinner at a friend's house. I've eaten there 5 times in 2 months. The food is absolutely wonderful. The beans are so good you'll end up craving them in the middle of the night. You can tell the quality of a Spanish restaurant by their beans. Pernil is fantastic, crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. Maduro made to order, are sweet and tender. Chicken stew is wonderful, with the chicken practically falling off the bone. My BIL and nephews say the pigs feet are great. Mangu available every day. They'd get 5 stars if they had AC, but then it wouldn't feel like home!
