I discovered this seafood market a couple of months ago and it’s become my go-to spot for shrimp. The seafood is always super fresh and the quality is consistently amazing. The gentleman who usually helps me is always friendly, knowledgeable, and takes the time to make sure I get exactly what I need. You can really tell they care about their customers and the products they sell. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good fresh seafood!

I’m very disappointed in the way this store treats its Black and Brown customers. From the moment I walked in, the energy felt unwelcoming and dismissive. Staff seemed attentive to others but barely acknowledged me or other customers of color. She seemed insulted that I walked into the store. She yelled at me because I didn’t meet the ten dollar minimum but she could have politely asked me to grab more things or not take the payment. I paid and then she tried to dismiss me. She felt insulted that I asked for a bag for my items. No one deserves to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome when shopping anywhere. Businesses need to understand that respect and fairness should be shown to everyone, regardless of race or background. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes real changes to create a more inclusive and respectful environment. I have been in the store in other occasions and it’s the same treatment .

Very nice small fresh seafood market. Fish is wild caught and they offer to clean it for customers. Other ethnic foods (cheese, sausage, bread) are available. Wonderful and welcoming owner/staff.

I am so happy to have found Lopes Seafood. I have tried many places near me and could not find the quality of fish that my wife and I have alway been accustomed to before coming to PA. Lopes seafood is between a 20 to 25 minute ride each way and it is well worth the trip. So glad to have found QUALITY fish. This is a small family business / store that the owners are hands on and very friendly.

Lopes is a must for Portuguese, Brazilian and some other Latin goods. I always go for fresh fish, salted cod, sausages, picanha, coffee and other treats. Price is very competitive with other international food markets.
