While we visited the Fogelsville location many times this was our first at the Bethlehem location. The atmosphere is very nice, and the food doesn’t disappoint. We had the mixed grille board which was excellent and a lot of fun for our group. The Labne and hummus were also amazing starters. We will be back. It's a pleasure to support a family businesss that does things right.

This place is great, the food is always amazing the service is always on point, atmosphere is relaxed and are always very attentive. I’m sure on really busy nights or when they are packed you might wait a little longer but because of their fresh made to order food it is worth it. If you want junk fast food go elsewhere.

Mediterranean Grill – Bethlehem, PA

We had a 6:00 PM Valentine’s Day reservation for a party of 10 at Mediterranean Grill in Bethlehem, PA. We arrived slightly early, and everyone was seated by 6:10 PM. What followed was one of the most poorly managed dining experiences I’ve ever had.

We did not see a server or receive even water until 7:00 PM — a full hour after being seated — and only after repeatedly asking staff for help. Our order was finally placed at 7:10 PM. From there, we waited another hour and ten minutes just to receive some of our appetizers.

During that time, we had to repeatedly track someone down to ask when the food would arrive. This was not a casual inconvenience — our table included multiple diabetics, I am pregnant, and we had a 2-year-old with us. Being left without food or even basic service for that long is unacceptable and frankly irresponsible.

When the appetizers finally arrived, multiple pita baskets were missing, and one entire appetizer never came at all. Meanwhile, no one returned to refill water or check on us. Two hours into the evening, we were still flagging staff down just to get basic attention.

Around 8:30 PM, we asked about our entrees and discovered we were speaking to the owner. He explained they were “very backed up” and only had one server. This was Valentine’s Day — a reservation-only, set-menu evening priced at $140 per couple. They knew they would be busy. The lack of preparation was entirely preventable and falls squarely on management.

When my husband said we would prefer to pay for the appetizers and leave, the owner promised, “The meals will be out in two minutes, you have my word. Set a timer — if I’m not back in two minutes, we’ll take care of the check.”

We set a timer. He returned 40 seconds after the two-minute mark — and with incorrect meals for several guests. Only three out of ten people received their entrées initially; the rest trickled out five minutes later. When we pointed out the broken promise, he dismissed it as “just 40 seconds” and said he would “take care of it” at the end of the meal.

By this point, it was nearly 9:00 PM. After waiting hours, I couldn’t even eat my meal because it was so late and I had already been hungry for most of the evening.

Desserts came relatively quickly after we asked for them to go, but we then waited another 30 minutes for the check. After packing up our family and preparing to leave, my husband stood at the host stand waiting yet again.

The resolution? A $5 gift card.

After charging our group $300 for a set three-course Valentine’s meal, the owner’s solution for hours of neglect, broken promises, incorrect orders, and complete lack of service was a $5 voucher — to return to the same establishment.

This was not simply a “busy holiday” hiccup. This was a failure in management, staffing, honesty, and customer care. We will not be returning

Mediterranean cuisine is a favorite of mine and this place might be my top choice! The falafel is perfectly spiced and not dry. The mixed grill kebab platter was amazing! All three meats were perfectly cooked. Lastly, the osmaliyi dessert (which I have pictured) was something I have never had before but can’t wait to get again. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if you’re in Bethlehem!

Incredible. This place was so good. I got the lamb shawarma wrap and Mike got the mixed grill and we got the beef hummus for an app. Crazy insanely good and super fast service. The chef came out and I had to shake his hand. Five stars.

I enjoyed the ambience and food overall. I ordered chicken shawarma sandwich and got a plate with just the sandwich there was no sauce or pickles on the side which most Mediterranean places serve as a part of the dish. Apart from that it’s a 10/10.

Top notch food, great staff. Comfortable decor. The lamb and beef kabobs were amazing. Cooked perfect mid-rare. Free entertainment in the form of a traditional Middle Eastern belly dancer. It was like watching art move.
