I love hole in the wall places like this. They are deceiving but we were transported to true middle eastern food. We had a party of 5 had meat pies, the meat pie sampler, babaganush (which was fantastic) and homemade pita, stuffed grape leaves (excellent), vegetarian stuffed grape leaves, a shish kabob sampler dinner, tea, coffee, and the best baklava I've ever had. The woman who waited on us (maybe the owner) was happy to offer suggestions and very pleasant. I look forward to visiting again! We did go early 5:00, when they opened, and had a reservation just to make sure because we had play tickets. Go... Visit... You won't be disappointed!

A Hidden Treasure on Broadway—The Olive Branch Delivers Unforgettable Middle Eastern Flair
From the moment you cross the threshold into The Olive Branch on Broadway, you’re welcomed by warm Middle Eastern décor and a sense of home far from home. The hospitality is unmatched—friendly, attentive service that sets you at ease from start to finish.
Start your meal with their irresistible Pie Sampler—a delightful trio of meat, feta, and spinach pies enveloped in homemade bread that burst with savory delight.
The Fatoosh Salad is no afterthought either: crisp greens and vegetables tossed in a perfectly balanced olive‑oil‑lemon‑sumac dressing that tastes fresh, zesty, and utterly satisfying.
Craving falafel? Their falafel sandwich is a note‑perfect rendition—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful within, and served in warm pita with fresh lettuce and tomato (plus tahini on the side for dipping, if you wish).
And don't skip dessert— the baklava deserves its own standing ovation. Rich, flaky, nutty, and simply “crazy, crazy good” .
Whether you’re craving authentic Levantine flavors or just looking for a cozy BYOB spot with fresh, handcrafted fare in Bethlehem, Olive Branch hits every mark. Always a return-worthy delight!

Food was high quality. I’ve lived in and traveled through the Middle East, and I give my stamp of approval. Kifta kebab was done to perfection. Almond slices & ground beef in the rice added just the right texture. And the grape leaves tasted just like home. Only flaw was they had no spicy sauce (really??).

Great people! And great food!
Valentines dinner with two other couples. Two of us are of Mediterranean descent & could tell you that food was authentic. The hummus was delicious and falafel was perfect! To top it off, it’s BYOB so our bill was super reasonable. My only negative comment would be that the fattoush wasn’t the best I’ve had but otherwise highly highly recommend trying this place. Delicious!
This is an excellent resturant. I have only gotten delicious food. Highly recommend!
Continues to be one of the absolutely BEST spots for Mediterranean food - in the Valley!
This is the best Mediterranean place I have been to. I travel a lot for work and still haven’t found a place that matches the flavors and the service. And the sweets are to die for, everything is made in house.
Wonderful people wonderful food relaxing atmosphere

My wife and I were in town for the day. What a wonderful experience! We had the hummus appetizer, lamb burger, lamb kabobs, tea and Arabic coffee and the chocolate peanut butter pie. The food was delicious! Our server was super polite and helpful. We appreciated the time he and his aunt spent with us to recommend places we could go to enjoy the Christmas lights in addition to other things.
One of my favorite restaurants in the Lehigh valley. Very sweet owner, excellent service. Food is fresh and top notch. Dinner for 2 is an excellent choice for a date night. Great lunch spot as well, falafel and shawarma sandwiches are delicious.
