What a shame this Legacy will be coming to and end. Everything is just as good as 50 years ago when my Dad took me there as a little boy.

Pete's Hot Dog Shop is an iconic part of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The business has been around since Pete Kourpas founded Pete's Hot Dog Shop back in 1937. It has changed hands since Pete started it, but continues to serve its community. As the name would imply, Pete's Hot Dog Shop has a focus on their hot dogs and that is what they ate best known for. I particularly like their chili on their hot dogs. Pete's Hot Dog Shop is an iconic part of Bethlehem's south side and the business definitely screams "old school." In addition to their hot dogs, stewed burgers, cheesesteaks and more. While there are certainly more trendy and upscale restaurants, we need places like Pete's Hot Dog Shop and it is often places like Pete's Hot Dog Shop that haunt our memories and if by chance, move from that area, it is a place like Pete's Hot Dog Shop that will be the first place we would want to return upon our visits back to the area. In terms of nostalgia and being a part of their community, Pete's Hot Dog Shop deserves five stars. While the food might only get three or at best four stars, it is the longevity as a part of the community that earns Pete's Hot Dog Shop five stars.

I thought it was a nice change of pace my 11yr old son thoroughly enjoyed it and has already asked to go back.

Ive been going to Pete's since I was a kid and my dad has been going since before that. excellent Lehigh valley style chili dogs. Definitely worth a try if youre on the south side of Bethlehem.

Our friend Frank grew up in Bethlehem, and this was his favorite place to get hot dogs. Great chili sauce. The only problem is their hours, which made it difficult to finally make it there. But lots of fun, with their "Buy 4 get a fifth one free deal"

I have been going to Pete's hotdog since I was a kid. This is a true Lehigh Valley staple! Best hotdogs in the Valley. Stew burgers are also out of this word! Cheap and delicious food!!

Not a bad hot dog by any means. There are just much better options elsewhere in the Valley. But if you are in South Side Bethlehem it's at least worth the try.

The best Sausage Egg and Cheese Sandwich in the Valley! But get there early, breakfast ends at around 11 Sausage, 2 Eggs and Cheese.. We call it the #MetsSpecial as a matter of fact, the breakfast in general is good. Try the sausages, great!
