Some of the food was lacking flavor. Had empanada apps, 2 beef & cheese & 2 chicken & cheese. Chicken & cheese were good, beef & cheese were meh. Chicken quesadilla wasn't grilled enough & the tortilla got soggy. Carne asada needs more seasoning. Was told by the manager you should tell them to add more seasoning. What restaurant tells you you need to ask for more seasoning? Also asked for hot sauce which was mild. The server should ask how much heat do you like. They also forgot the sour cream my hubs requested & was charged for it. We asked for 2 small plates which never came. They did however, take 50% off the carne asada dish which was nice. Other times we were there it was ok. Not sure if we would return.

Had a wonderful experience! From the hostess ( sorry I didn't realize we needed a reservation for our large group ) letting us know it would be a few moments for a table, the manager or owner ( not sure ) stopping to let us know it would be a few minutes. Our waiter Yeisan ( Jason ) was GREAT!! He was patient and funny ( joked with my husband that when your order a Corona at a Mexican restuarant you don't need the drink menu ). Even surprised us with a piece of cake with a sparkler when he found out my family was there to celebrate my birthday. The food and drinks were fabulous, even my picky eater was satisfied. Thanks again for such a fabulous night out!

This Plaza Azteca is definitely the best in the valley. The food is fresh and delicious and the margaritas are really good. They also have a solid happy hour/daily specials menu. This location also provides an awesome catering/party experience!

Plaza Azteca is one of our favorite restaurants! This was our first time at this location, and we'll be going back. The table-made guacamole is worth every penny and then some. Our waiter seemed a bit distracted and aloof, but the overall experience was quite good.
