I ordered the oxtails platter.... sides were yellow rice, collard greens and Mac and cheese...everything was delicious...I'll definitely be back.

The owner was so sweet! My favorite things with my platter were the Yams and the Honey BBQ sauce. Their fried fish was well seasoned and so was their mac and cheese. & the portions are appropriate! I actually went back and ordered the same day. Definitely quality soul food within the lehigh valley area!

There wasn't any soul in the mac n cheese. That much I do know. Personally I wouldn't call chicken tenders soul food either.

I came across this place from word of mouth. You really can't find soul food places around the lehigh valley area.. so decided to come try this place out.There is a special for everyday of the week they're open.We had the egg roll platter which has philly cheese steak and chicken philly cheese steak your choice and comes with 2 sides chose yams and mac, also had the sweet and sweaty wing platter and chose rice and collards and platters come with corn bread.The wings were good. It's the sauce and the crispness of the wing for me. Definitely would come back for some wings.The collards had too much vinegar in it for my taste.. it was overpowering and they needed to be cooked a little more.The rice was a little on the bland side, didn't have much taste.The yams were good, the consistency was on the weird side for me.. I've never had them sliced thin before.. I had to kinda mush them up.I didn't like the Mac too much the noodles were a little mushy for me. But a friend of mine liked it so it's all on what you prefer.The egg rolls were good, the steak one needs more filling or make the dough smaller.The customer service was amazing. Sheena was awesome and I love supporting local black businesses! Can't wait to see how the restaurant evolves ???? will be back.
