Awesome snow day lunch at the taproom. Great New England Clam Chowder, cheesesteak and crab sandwich. Mini slider 3 pack was just ok. Charged me an extra $2 each for a small marinara sauce and a few jalapeños $16 Bloody Mary a bit much but great overall

Had a very enjoyable lunch with my granddaughters. Food was very good, service was excellent and atmosphere in the Tap Room was very good. Thank you for a great experience.

I have been at the Tap Room previously and the visit was very welcoming. Today, January 13, 2026 I took my friend and granddaughter from Florida to have the same experience. I told the greeter that we were going to sit at the bar. We sat ourselves and waited to be served. We were not greeted after we sat down. There were many servers at the tables but no bartender. We sat for 20+ minutes until we got the attention of a server. We were told there is no bartender to wait on us and they the servers are too busy to get us a drink. They got the greeter to come over. He told us that he's not a bartender. He was able to pour us wine and a beer but didn't know how to make the chocolate peanut butter martini. I will never patronize Hotel Bethlehem again and if I could have given them (-100) stars I would have.

This is maybe my 50th time dining at the Tap Room. Hotel Bethlehem is always a good choice for food, drinks, and ambiance. Never disappoints. The service is the only wavering variable. Jay was my server. She is a very pleasant server. However, the system that the restaurant management uses needs to be reevaluated if it has never been evaluated before. My reservation was for 4:15. I was gratefully seated at 4:10. I ordered a Hennessy at 4:12 after having a glass of water filled by a very courteous SAz Naz. The cognac arrived at 4:18 and I ordered the risotto with an added salmon filet blackened and medium rare. The risotto with salmon arrived at 4:52 which is understandable. The salmon was quite tiny, maybe the size of two White Castle Burger patties. I asked if this was standard because I have ordered at least a dozen salads with salmon added on and the salmon has always been at least twice this size. I did not complain. Joyfully, I devoured the delicious risotto and perfectly cooked salmon. My check was $42 and I tipped the server $14. The restaurant requires a needs assessment, surveys, and some focus groups to collect data, synthesize it, and come up with targeted recommendations. To think that because the hotel is successful, the restaurant will thrive is the equivalent mistake made by Bethlehem Steel along with dozens of other businesses.

We had to wait 20 minutes for our table even with reservations. They sat another table of four before us who came in after and told us because we were a table of four they wouldn't seat us anywhere else. Meanwhile, the group behind us who was sat was also a group of four. We were treated very rudely by our server who was rushing us to order our food with our drinks and when we said we weren't ready to order food, he said I'll go take theirs and left without our drink order as well. After we finally ordered drinks and ordered food, we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our breakfast items. They forgot the side order of one of the orders as well. The table of four who sat before us left before we even received our food. The only person who apologized for our wait was the cook who brings the food out on the cart. Our food was cold cold cold. I'm so disappointed in this experience as we make the reservations ahead of time to have a positive experience here.

The Tap Room is inside the Historic Bethlehem Hotel in PA and is upscale. This restaurant is beautiful and the food is great. We went Thanksgiving week and the hotel and restaurant were decorated extensively for the holidays. Service is also wonderful. There were 3 of us who had, a Lobster Roll, their Strip Steak and Branzino. We also had dessert that was also wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Stopped in for a late lunch after going to the Christmas market in Bethlehem. It was our first time in the hotel which was gorgeous and decorated beautifully for the holidays. Lunch was delish! We were fortunate to have the sweet potato soup before they ran out. Absolutely delicious! Then, a burger and club sandwich which we enjoyed. The service was great!
