One of my very favorite places. Everything is top-notch. Even my family always goes when they visit from out of state.

Bad service. Couldn’t accommodate a group of 5 while we sat at the bar during our meal even though multiple tables were available.

Additionally our food took 1 hour to come out.

The Bayou is one of the most consistent places to eat in the Lehigh Valley area. From there fried chicken all the way down to their Poboy sandwich, it is always fresh, hot and ready! If you can make it to their happy hour, I would highly suggest it as well. Keep doing what you’re doing Bayou

Long wait on food. Not busy. Waitress was not attentive and talking everywhere else. Our server never offered dessert... was too busy talking with family and co-workers. No ketchup given for burger and fries, no refilling water. So after my wife said something while going to the bar for water...our Waitress stood at the bar giving her the stink eye. She then came over plopped down the check and never asked us if we wanted dessert... which we did. We took it as a sign to leave. It is a shame, the burgers were awesome.

Food was okay, our waiter/server was a very nice guy. It was just a little weird and very off-putting to use the ladies room and look up at the ceiling after using the facilities/ as I'm pulling my pants up and see two cameras attached to the ceiling. One pointed directly at the corner where the toilet is and one pointed to the corner where the baby changing table is. Neither were pointing at the sink (so when I thought it was maybe to verify that their employees are washing their hands? (Also still weird) I was even more perplexed). They weren't additional lights (tested the light switch to be sure), so uh, yeah... just so people know?

Oh, also, as a Southerner, I was excited to try their Shrimp and Grits, and their grits were watery. I'd honestly rank it around the 9 or 10 mark out of 10 (with 1 being best, sadly). Grits aren't supposed to be watery or sweet really.

I went to this Southern restaurant with a group of friends, and it was such a great experience! I ordered the mac and cheese, and it was incredibly flavorful — creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. I also had a cider, which was delicious and paired really well with the meal. My friends tried different dishes, and it looked like they really enjoyed their food too. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Southern comfort food!

The food is just excellent every time we come. Never had bad service either. They are always on their game here. We'll be back!

We figured we try this place based on the reviews. Was disappointed. We had the hush puppies Jalapeño, Aged Cheddar, Herb Chimichurri. That we recommend. I had the Brisket Po' Boy Aged Cheddar, Shallot Marmalade, Cabbage Slaw, Marinated Tomatoes. Served with Fries. Very disappointing. The brisket had no flavor and the Shallot Marmalade, Cabbage Slaw, did not complement the Sandwich at all. My husband had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Five (5) pieces of fried chicken, Sweet Potato Mash, House Pickles. 1st of all $26.00 is pricy for fried chicken. The chicken was over cooked, the corn bread was hard.
Husband did like the pickles and the sweet mash potatoes. The waitress was nice and polite, but she saw that I barley touched my food and did
not question this. When we received the bill the suggested tip was starting from 20% to 25%. Common tip for a fine dining restaurant starts from 18%. This wasn't fine dining.

Amazing dinner at the Bayou. Some of the best bites ever at this place. A+ must get, the homemade cornbread, freshest catfish I've ever had, best hush puppies I've ever had as well. Chicken was also great. Service was excellent too. I'm gonna take off half a star for the Nashville hot chicken not even being remotely hot. (Or maybe they gave us the normal chicken??) And another half star for some of the prices of the entrees, a tad high. Not crazy but a tad high for the area. But otherwise, highly recommended and would come back instantly.
