This is the BEST sushi spot in Bethlehem.
Great little restaurant. My wife an I came here on a whim for a date. I didn't realize how small it was inside, and we were supposed to make reservations. Luckly we had come a bit early so they had space at the bar for us. Food was very good! I tried a fruit sushi roll on a whim because it actually sounded good. Man it was really good! It was savory and a little sweet.
Always very good. Like the Spicy Seafood Soup. Godzilla roll was a bit doughy.
The Other Fish serves the best sushi in the Lehigh Valley, hands down. The menu is fresh, creative, and consistently delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff that, makes every visit feel like you just showed up to hang out with your friends. If sushi isn’t your thing, the noodle bowls are incredible also. An essential part of the intimate atmosphere, the limited seating is best for a small party. A must-visit for any sushi lover in the area.
Delicious inventive sushi rolls. We sat at the bar and got some fun stories from the chef and his staff. The deep fried peanut butter roll is surprisingly tasty
Food was awesome. Atmosphere was chill
I’d go here when I crave American-style sushi, but I don’t trust them for hot food. The sushi roll I got was quite good and generous especially for the price. However, the clear soup and tentsuyu were severely lacking.
In traditional Japanese cuisine, clear soup is considered one of the most important dishes. It’s the measuring stick for the kitchen’s skill and palate: ingredient quality aside, can they properly extract flavors from simple ingredients and balance the ratios? Unfortunately, the answer here is no. This was an assault of salt and scallion without the gentle sweetness from dried seafood. My homemade version’s much better. The tentsuyu was likewise unpleasantly off-balance, just salty with no detectable mirin.
I’d come here again, but I’d strictly stick to the rolls.
The Other Fish is a hidden gem near Main Street in Bethlehem. We have dined in and had takeout from here many times and are always so happy with the service, ambiance, and everything they offer. Today, we started with the spicy seafood soup, inari with spicy tuna and shrimp tempura, and the black truffle tuna appetizer, which were all delicious. We also ordered 4 sushi rolls - spicy lover, snow goose, tracy, and tipper. All were fantastic and left us wanting more!
Just went here for the first time! No biased but my uncle works here and the food is A1!! I recommend nearly everyone to try the ramen! I got their sushi and I melted. Amazing, no words.
Best sushi ever! I’ve been going here for 10 years with my family and no place does it like The Other Fish.

Good soosh
Nestled in a cozy corner, this hidden gem of a sushi joint offers a top-notch menu that goes beyond just sushi options. While the exterior may be unassuming, their extensive selection of noodles and other non-sushi dishes is sure to impress. The BYOB policy allows you to bring along your preferred drink to complement the meal. Don't forget to ask about the special of the day for a delightful surprise and ask for secret dessert menu!
Best sushi + atmosphere
I have ordered a few times from here and was always satisfied w/ what I ordered. This time however, maybe they were just having an off night but the sushi I ordered (shrimp tempura roll) was unbelievably tiny, wondering if shrimp was even in it it was so small. The roll just fell apart when trying to pick up and eat due to the rice not sticking the way it should. The teriyaki chicken was so dry and the gyoza was just ok. I was very disappointed in the quality of the food which is why I only gave 2 stars. I felt I just waisted money which sucks because I liked getting food from here.
