While I realize anyone can have a bad day, one of the bartenders here, a younger girl, was vicious and had attitude pouring out for absolutely no reason whatsoever, despite us being pleasant. We found it to be really detracting, so we had one drink and left. Not jumping through hoops to go back here.

Food was good. Prices are ok... had a drink, and a wrap with chips for $39, tip included. Ouch. Was with a big group but some drinks came out right away and some took an hour. Overall, underwhelmed.

We went for an appetizer, drinks and the live music. Great band playing first Fridays of the month (didn’t catch their name). You can’t hold a conversation while the band is playing though. Just go knowing that. Outdoor seating is very comfy with covered seating and ceiling fans at each table. There is indoor seating also but I didn’t see it. They seemed severely under-staffed. Food, drinks, everything took a long time. Music kept you entertained meanwhile though. Our waitress was Tatiana and she was fantastic! Although we didn’t get food (besides Nachos), the plates we saw go by looked incredible!

The Wooden Match is truly a gem in Historic Downtown Bethlehem. The building’s rich history as the old Bethlehem Station gives it a unique charm—you can feel the legacy in every brick. I’ve been here a few times, and the vibes are always great, especially when there’s outdoor music. Today, they had live jazz inside, and it was phenomenal. I tried the burger flight, and wow—the meat was delicious, the chips were thick and crispy, and everything was full of flavor. The service was excellent too—our waiter was friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend!

Basic neighborhood bar with great food and friendly. Unique and quirky since it is an old train station. Great place to catch up with family who live in the area. Good cocktails too.

Unfortunately, every time I have visited this establishment (3 times in 11 years), I have walked away regretting it. Our most recent visit had us waiting on the patio for over an hour after we ordered. We ultimately just paid our bill and left. They didn't comp us the food that we didn't get to eat. No effort to make it right. We will not be back again. Won't make the same mistake a 4th time. Very disappointing.

We went for lunch. We had 1 hour. We told the server the time we had to leave. Uncomplicated order.

Got a lot of excuses. Food still not there after 50 minutes. I said we had to pay for our drinks and go. They brought out our food exactly when we had to leave. A waste of time and money: I didn't get lunch and had to pay for the privilege. Never coming back.

We went here for dinner and opted for indoor seating because it was super windy. We aren’t smokers, but the cigar smoke wasn’t overwhelming. We ordered the pretzel appetizer…it was truly incredible and we couldn’t stop eating it. I don’t know what secret ingredient they use, but wow. My fiancée got a burger that he really enjoyed. Normally I’m a burger person as well, but I decided to try the fried chicken sandwich. It wasn’t my favorite but I think objectively is a good sandwich; I think I just had a burger on my mind. We also stayed for the first performer of their open mic night, and he was really talented and the music was the perfect vibe for the space. Waitress was super friendly. Overall, would definitely recommend and go again ourselves.

Great place and atmosphere. They have patio, you can smoke cigars, it’s always been a favorite of mine.

The food and service are very enjoyable. The music is best when the outdoor seating is open during the warmer months. Sometimes, their chicken is a bit dry, but it really depends on the day, so that might be because they are crowded and things are sitting under lamps waiting for servers. (The last time it was dry, there was also a 45-minute wait for people to be seated, which is why I think that might be the case.)

A quick little restaurant and bar that has an atmosphere like no other. They have various beer on drafts. I have had many pleasant conversations with various people who frequent the establishment. The food is good as well as is the staff. I highly recommend you check the way to match out!
