Very nice lil sushi place. Lots of vegan options. They have sushi rolls as well as entree dishes. Good miso soup. Waitress is always very nice. It is always the same lady but the food is served quickly. I have been there for lunch and dinner and it is always very good.

Lovely atmosphere, kind and attentive service, the waitress was lovely. However I did not enjoy the food as much as I hoped - I ordered the chicken katsu curry lunch special, which came with miso and salad. Miso was extremely salty, and the salad was soggy and overdressed. The curry itself was delicious and the rice cooked nicely, but it seemed like tempura batter was used for the katsu breading instead of typical panko.

I can’t believe this place isn’t full all the time. I got the maki combo with soup and a salad and three of the the best tasting rolls I’ve ever had. Our server Evi learned everyone’s name and ensured there was no waiting or buildup of food. BYOB and perfect date night!

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and it saddens me to write this review. It has always been good which is why it has survived the pandemic and has been open for many years in the same location. But today at lunch the food was not good at all. The sushi was tasteless and even the sushi rice was pasty and of poor quality. The udon noodles had no taste whatsoever. Even the hot sauce could not help. Maybe it was an aberration and the chef was having a bad day but it was disappointing because my meals here have always been excellent. Wondering if the quality has gone down overall or was this just a one off experience

I lived in Japan 35 years ago. One of my favorite dishes was okonomiyaki. When friend told me this restaurant served it, I wanted to go. It was delicious! I missed being able to make it myself like in Japan but it was still yummy! Our waitress was very kind as well!

24 East is a gem and has been a go to place for me for years for a quick sushi fix. Evie and Rudy are really what make this a special and intimate place. After not having been to 24 East in almost a year due to some life changes, Evie remembered me today as soon as I walked in, and offered a warm smile and hug. It's rare to find these types of places anymore. Go for the laid back no frills atmosphere, being able to BYOB, and to always have service with a smile- or grab some take out!

My boyfriend and I were stuck on what restaurant we should eat at for dinner and also on a time a crunch. But I'm so glad we agreed on 24 East Bistro!!!! The time & day we went we had the restaurant all to ourselves which we thought was cute. Our waitress was wonderful!!! Very Kind, friendly, and took great care of us. Our food was also great. What I also loved too was how our waitress packed our leftovers. I had sushi and an appetizer that had sauces, the sauces were packed separately in a small container but she taped the sauces to the container the sushi was packed in. Usually when you have sauces you're worried about them falling over and spilling in the bag. And out of all the restaurants I've been to that serve sushi none of them ever taped the sauces. I was just so amazed by that, it was thoughtful. We really enjoyed our dining experience, we felt we were well taken care of. We can't wait to come back!!
