Amazing selection. Everything looked so delicious. My husband and I had a very hard time deciding on what to get, as absolutely everything looked delicious. I am planning a trip from JC to DC and will stop by the baker, even though it's not really on the way :) Updated from previous review on 2025-08-02
Everything is amazing!
Worth the trip!
VT Cannoli used to be so good, crunchy, now sad like a wet limp worm and you have to take out a reverse mortgage on your house to afford it
I cannot say enough good things about this cake! Not only was it absolutely stunning, but it perfectly matched the spooky, vintage aesthetic of my baby shower. Every detail, from the piped ghosts to the “HELLO” banner was so thoughtfully crafted and unique. It was clear that so much love and artistry went into making it. Guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful (and delicious) it was. Truly a showstopper and the centerpiece of the event. Thank you for bringing my vision to life in such a magical way!
Vegan Treats is awesome, so nice to have a bakery option that caters to all dietary needs and everything is so good! The staff are always super friendly too
I would give zero stars if I could. Cakes are beautifully presented in the case (as they are on social media as well) but the shop itself was a million degrees hot with one employee visible in his office with a large fan blowing on himself instead of cooling the customer area.
The employee at the counter seemed to care less what we were ordering and didn’t even know the answer to a simple question about one of the 8 or so “large” cakes in the case (Question : What flavor cake was in the orange cream cake? ).
Ended up purchasing the orange cream cake which was a staggering $60 for about a 6 in cake and the employee proceeded to place it in a a box that was far too small, explaining “we don’t have a larger box for this”. Oh ok. See photos for how that turned out after the car ride home.
To add insult to injury, the (at this point quite ugly from the ill fitting box) cake was terribly dry, overly sweet and the icing had an off-putting flavor. I’m no stranger to vegan baking and next time I’ll just save the hassle and bake my own birthday cake.
Vegan Treats did my wedding cake and it was everything I could have dreamed of - delicious and super cute!
My husband once bought a chocolate cake for his birthday, it was an expensive cake, and I didn’t like the taste of it at all: it felt very dense, dry and heavy dough, extremely sweet, more sugar than real chocolate.
Once I also bought a small lemon pie to share with a friend and it also felt very dry and way too sweet.
The service isn’t great either, staff was not friendly and looked “bored” at the clients.
When I was in the are for a wedding, realized Vegan Treats was nearby. Have had their deserts in coffee shops in Philly and have ordered their treats for Halloween and Christmas before. The shop itself was super impressive. My wife was excited for swirled soft serve. We got a ton of items the first time but they were so good we went back. Both times there was a bit of a line but 100% understand why.
The variety of donuts were amazing. The customer service was outstanding. Their line is always packed when I go any vegan festival.

You will find the most beautiful creations, the workmanship behind each created pastry piece is to be appreciated. Never disappoints!
I was incredibly excited to have a work training in Bethlehem a few weeks ago because that meant VEGAN TREATS for the first time!!! How many of us remember what it is like to walk into a bakery and be able to eat EVERYTHING there 😢 it was a moment when I walked in. So, I couldn’t get as much as I wanted because it is pricey (can you blame them though, each piece is a work of art!) so I got three things. One was on me for not liking it because I don’t like anything “cream cheese” tasting/based anyway, but I can tell it was well-made. The vanilla cake I got was good (icing) but a bit dry, did not finish it. The chocolate brownie-fudge type cake I got though was THE BOMB and I only ate it in small pieces just to savor it😄I hope to find some reason to be out there again to get some more goodies, and I’m kicking myself for not getting any of the soft serve. Edit to Add: I got two custom made cakes from them - carrot & chocolate - and they hit it out of the park. Their vegan eggs & butterfingers are scrumptious!!! I think the cake quality has also improved. Updated from previous review on 2022-01-24
Years ago, I had Vegan Treats at other restaurants and cafes and I really liked their stuff back then. Unfortunately, recently I placed an order for a few of their chocolate/treat boxes and I am so disappointed and feel ripped off. The boxes are ludicrously overpriced for the quality and especially quantity. I should have read the listings more carefully and given it a bit more thought before pulling the trigger, but I was just excited to get some treats from them. The experience at the bakery itself might be great, but shopping from them online feels so overpriced as to be a bit scammy tbh. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-22
I have to limit my trips here because everything is so gorgeous and tempting. Everything I've tried I've enjoyed immensely.
