Hello everyone, the tavern has been sold and is in the process of transitioning to new ownership in the next few weeks.
Saturday August 9th will be the last day of operations under Donna and Warren Walters, at which point the Restaurant will be closed until the transition is complete.
We will be offering a shortened menu for the time being. We appreciate all of our Spring Valley Family and community for their love and support over the years.

What a great place! The service was terrific. The food was awesome with trout caught right behind the restaurant! The desserts were decadent, and Alan was a great host. We'll definitely come back.

Stopped for dinner while traveling to Harrisburg. Location is not extremely convenient to the interstate but the 10 - 15 minute detour was well worth it. Extremely cute, historic building and grounds. Server and service excellent. Food very good. The trout did not disappoint and plenty of other choices.

This tavern was built in 1809, inside is very cozy, nice bar, 2 dining areas.
The outside dining wirh gardens is nice too. A band was setting up.in a large screenedin porch. Our sandwiches were huge & we enjoyed the pierogies ,tasted like home-made.

Always a good experience here. Gouda Mac n Cheese was excellent. Sitting in the shade near the pond was relaxing and comfortable despite today's heat.

We had a beautiful experience at Ye Olde Spring Tavern. We held a memorial gathering for my step-father who passed away in March.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is calming and beautiful. Well worth your visit .
