I love this place so much but their pies (specifically fruit pies like apple/cherry/blueberry/etc) have really gone downhill over the past year or so. They used to have the best pies but every single one I’ve bought recently doesn’t have any fruit in it and the filling is just all sugary goop with barely any fruit mixed in. The crust is also soggy and not as flaky and good as it was before. I keep buying them thinking the last time was a fluke, but something has definitely changed. I recommend their other baked goods and dinner rolls. The shoe fly pie is still good too, just avoid the fruit pies!

A bake shop on a back road that is worth your time to hunt up! Everything is tried there is very good! I especially like their dinner rolls and sandwich rolls.

A bake shop along a country road. Well worth the drive! The best dinner rolls, pies and more! They now have ice cream too.

Friendly staff and big assortment of goods that include baked, jams, and dairy items. Atmosphere and staff were great, but the baked goods were just OK.

WTH are the garbage ingredients in the shoefly pie?! Where is the molasses? This is a pie of poison. I ordered 6 to hand out. Now I’m ashamed. Partially hydrogenated oil, corn syrup, light syrup, etc. What a shame. Pure garbage!

I ordered 4 dozen cupcakes for a work party and the woman on the phone was very kind and helpful. When I came to pick up, everything was ready and boxed up for me so I could easily transport to my car. The cupcakes were DELICIOUS everyone was raving about them. Would recommend this bake shop ten times over!

This review is for an apple and a no-sugar-added blueberry pie, sampled on the day they were purchased from the bakeshop.

Both pies are merely mediocre, not much different than the pies one would purchase from a large supermarket bakery. The fillings did not taste home-made and the apple pie seemed to have as much filler as actual apples. The crusts on both pies were soggy and tasted mass-produced. I would not call these "Amish-style" at all.

The pies weren't terrible, just no better than mediocre.
