“After a day of shopping we decided to stop in and do some wine tasting. We had a great experience here, wine and beer was good. Specifically Rachel was amazing! She was working wine tasting and the register, running back and forth, all with a terrific attitude and smile!”
“Roast beef sandwich was amazing, and the ice cream was amazing! Wish I had ordered a double scoop. We had a lovely time, service was pleasant, and the play area and goats outside were a nice end to our trip. We brought home some apple dumplings and can't wait to try them. Will definitely be back.”
“Fun place. Wine downstairs with tastings. Most of the wine tends to be sweet. Upstairs a small area with Distillery Goods, rum, and the like. Larger area upstairs is a brewery, can do tastings and flights, both wine and beer, usually 8 beers or ciders on tap. I did a beer flight come a very enjoyable. Also a few packaged snacks, pretzels, wheat thins, cheese. Price wise quite reasonable.”
“Been coming to the Bird In Hand Bakery And Cafe for many years and have always been very satisfied. I do believe they have the best Shoofly Pie in the area. The pie is always moist and extremely flavorful and stays for a number of days without refrigeration. The Whoopi Pies are also a real treat. Breads, doughnuts, buns and specialty occasions cakes are all wonderful. A must stop when in Amish Country. The only problem is living down the road from here. Not good the the waistline.”
“Simple but delicious food. The fried chicken was amazing and all the country vegetables were all incredible. Plenty of seating and would be great for large groups.”
“This place is awesome. We passed by many times but decided to stop today. So glad we did!!! Fast, friendly, professional service. Food all had a great smoked meat flavor and so tender!!I can’t recommend this place enough!! Will be back again and again!”

“I did not know if bacon, egg and cheese on a beignet would work…….my doubts were quickly dismissed with the very first bite!!!! I loved the sandwich, the atmosphere, the location, everything! Thank you for making my wife’s birthday fun and delicious! 100/10”
“Just stopped in to try this cute little place and must say that I will be coming back! The selection of pies are amazing. It was hard to choose just one. I will definitely return to try others in the near future!”
“Its not only excellent with the selection of coffee, but it was an experience. The gentleman who took my order gave me recommendations and allowed me to sample. The coffee was perfect as well as the pastries.”
“Step into a slice of Brazil at this hidden gem, where warmth and flavor intertwine seamlessly. Chef Silvia, the heart and soul of the kitchen, crafts each dish with a passion that's evident in every bite. The inviting ambiance, coupled with the genuine hospitality of the staff, transforms every meal into a memorable experience. Every dish reflects the rich tapestry of Brazilian cuisine, leaving you craving for more with each visit. It's not just a meal; it's a journey to Brazil right in your neighborhood.”
“Cute and poppin' at brunch on a Saturday. Tables were all reserved but there was room at the spacious bar. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was delicious ? and drinks were a delight to look at and tasted great as well! Will definitely ”
“The whole dining experience was more than excellent; it was damn-near perfect! I'm not much of a raw fish person, but I tasted my wife's tuna tartare appetizer and loved it. My oysters Rockefeller appetizer was a delicately balanced, excellent preparation. For my main course I had the whole Branzino, expertly deboned for me at tableside, and it was marvelous. At that point we did not need dessert, but the list of available after dinner drinks was awesome! Kudos also to our server Casey, who helped to make the evening memorable.”
“Birthday celebration for our daughter. They printed a special greeting in the menu for her!! Such an elegant touch. Food incredible, service amazing. Such a perfect evening. I had the lamb, hubby had duck and daughter had filet Mignon. All perfect.”
“I need to talk about this cafe I found on a Thursday morning. I was the first customer there, and the atmosphere was immediately inviting, bright, clean, and full of positive energy. The Lebanese-style falafel wrap was unlike anything I've had before. It tasted rich, almost like a blend of lamb or beef, but it was definitely falafel. The addition of pickled radishes and fresh vegetables was a brilliant choice. The pita bread was the perfect balance of soft and chewy, holding everything together. The owner added to the experience by offering me a complimentary espresso. It was strong and smooth, a great end to an amazing meal. This cafe isn't just about food; it's an entire experience. The flavors, the atmosphere, and the service all come together to create something special. If you haven't been there yet, you're truly missing out.”
“A real French bakery with the best macaroons and a variety of pastries. The quality is what you would have in France. Its worth driving over from Philly to have this.It would be one of best experience your taste buds would have had.I would be surprised if anyone would mention that they have had better deserts for the same items anywhere else.I would doubt if any NYC place can be better than this. Have visited them since the last 5 years and the quality is consistent. They have crossaints and coffee, that i plan to be there for breakfast some weekend.Their bistro has great food french food, if you are a fan of real french food.”
“We had a chicken and steak cheesesteak which were amazing! It was flavorful and juicy and the bread was nice and soft. The service great and we got our food quick! It is definitely a good option for a nice casual spot for lunch!”
“Very nice atmosphere and very friendly helpful people. Very clean inside and out. Very delicious ice cream. Thats my first time but my relatives been here before and they liked it at the first time so are we. They have chikens and goats, small cows. My kids loved it, they petting goats and feedings them it was fun for kids. They love animals. Thank you so much for everything. Defenetly a come back place.”
“We stopped here based on reviews, as we were traveling through the area for an event. Totally worth the stop! The food was amazing! We thought we had a good Arepa joint near us…but this was next level. Parking is tricky, but still worth the trip!”
“The BEST ice cream in the world! While turning onto the driveway to the Lapp farm we knew it would be special. There is meticulous grounds, farm cats and dogs, you can feed the cows and walk around the property. There is a drive through too for convenience but we like sitting on their enclosed porch and enjoy the views. On some days you may see cats walking around pleading for a taste of your ice cream and a dog sleeping (snoring). The store has freshly made waffle cones, fresh milk to drink there or take home. The chocolate milk tastes like a shake. If we could find a dry ice company near by we would take gallons of ice cream back home. It's the best!3/26/24 Update: Been coming here for over 15 years. Best of the best. If I were to ever start my own ice cream store in New Jersey, I would work a deal with Lapps to sell their brand in my shop.”
“Wow! This place was farm-to-table style dining at its finest! I highly recommend this restaurant whenever one is in the Lancaster area. The homemade Snickers bar is so divine!”
“This was our first visit and a last minute idea to go to belvedere for dinner. Our food was delicious. We had the lobster crab dip, lobster bisque, swordfish and salmon . We were very happy with our choices. Our server was friendly, attentive and extremely pleasant along with the host and hostess. It was our anniversary and a card congratulating us was placed on our table for when we arrived. We were very pleased with the whole experience and will come back.”
“It gives you straight-up old roadside diner in the atmosphere department, but the food is absolutely phenomenal. I enjoyed a really delicious omlette that came in a great portion with delicious shredded potatoes and fantastic bacon. I was quite impressed with the food and the service was great too. They have a giant pancake I want to try next. It's bigger than the plate.I'm already planning my return. If you're looking for classic diner eats and breakfast to die for, try this spot for sure. It's a PA gem.”
“Fun little family friendly experience. You get to learn about the first commercial hard pretzel maker. Interesting history, fun little tour, and pretty good soft pretzels. The tour guide was great and personable, cool historical place, and the food was good but no cinnamon sugar pretzels (my favorite). Love it overall.”
“Well done!!This place is awesome. The food was delicious, the ice cream… delicious-er.The staff needs to be cloned and sent to every restaurant on earth. They were patient, helpful, and genuine. And the elegant simplicity of the decor was welcoming and endearing.I’ll go the 15 miles out of the way to get to this place again!”
“Hands down the best breakfast spot I have ever been to. Our friends John and Lisa Manaco took us here and they did not disappoint us. We had a party of 6 and we were seated, waited on, and served in a very timely manner, but the best part was everyone loved their meals. Holy bacon too, definitely do yourself a favor and sample each kind of bacon they offer cause they will make you wanna smack yo momma. Next time I come back to Amish land I will be sure to go here every day I am able too and you should do the same!!!! Great Job Gracies, Don't ever stop being excellent. Extra Bacon for all the employees too!!!!”
“If you are looking for a place with all around great service, great atmosphere, and great food this is the place. My friend and I went yesterday and this was our first time. They were so helpful and we took every suggestion they had and the food was amazing. We both built our own bowls and they asked if we had dietary needs. This was very helpful due to my friend be ing lactose intolerant. We also did orders of samosa and the chili momo and I wish I was joking when I say these were also amazing. This was probably one of the best experience in a restaurant. I wanted to try different things and I asked for suggestions and they were accurate with everything being amazing!!! Thank you for being so nice and considerate.”
“Amazing service, perfect atmosphere!!! Locally sourced organic menu. The fries are absolutely amazing!!!! Let alone the Espresso Martini. If you enjoy coffee, you HAVE to order yourself one. Your taste buds will love you for it!!!!!!!!!0”
“We had a fabulous meal and experience. They even helped me when the most embarrassing thing happened. I accidently left my wallet at home, so one of the waitresses volunteered to use her Venmo to cover our bill. There was no scene,no fuss, and it eased my embarrassment just a few simple clicks, and I was able to pay the bill. Thank you!”
“We visit on every trip to Lancaster county. Love their pies, cookies, whoopie pies and especially their dinner and hamburger rolls. They also have good ice cream and will make you a shake. During the summer there is a food truck outside baking pretzels. They're also extremely helpful if there's something special you want they will make it for you, you can either call or order it while you're there and pick up the next day. Coconut cream pie is amazing. Pumpkin pie also amazing, and pumpkin custard pie is seasonal but definitely worth trying.”
