We stumbled upon this gem at a kiosk at the hotel we are staying at and we can never turn down BBQ. 😂 the food was great, the service was great, and everything was fast, hot and perfect. Good food, the sandwiches are huge.
I do wish they had more BBQ sides… baked beans, Mac n cheese, etc and more BBQ entree options in general.

Smokehouse at Plain & Fancy Farm is a must stop when visiting Lancaster or simply driving through. The atmosphere is great, quiet and peaceful, with a lit fireplace and a bar where you can meet up with friends. It is family friendly with a children's menu and coloring pages. The staff is attentive, pleasant, and super sweet.
The food is delicious and does not disappoint. Favorite items include the brisket, which is amazing, the pulled pork, the delightful fried chicken, and the hand pies. The Smokehouse Stacker is a familiar menu item. Sides like the battered seasoned fries and the macaroni & cheese have good flavor. The imaginative and tasty cocktail and mocktail menu includes options like the Shoofly Manhattan. Flights and other adult beverages are available. The menu also offers a family meal for four, served family style, including non-alcoholic drinks, with meatloaf and fried chicken plus sides and desserts.
Parking is split on two levels but is a short walk. The restaurant is accessed through the gift shop.
