“A group of six widows attended. The food was delicious! The seating was reminiscent of a family reunion.Beverages were tea and water, they started with fresh bread and butter, strawberry jelly and peanutbutter spread. Salad was served and pickled beets were on the tables.Roast beef and Chicken were tender and savory. Mashed potatoes and noodles.Coffee was offered and then Apple crumble, with ice cream and a fruit 'pudding'.Absolutely, delicious and delightful meal. ?”

“I need to talk about this new Mexican restaurant. It's different and authentic. The decor is simple, a mix of Mexican and practical styles. It's not about looking fancy, it's about the food. The food is excellent. The chorizo sope is full of flavor, spicy and satisfying. The tripa taco is well-made and tasty, even for those who might be hesitant to try it. The dishes show a deep understanding of Mexican cooking. Everything here focuses on traditional Mexican flavors. The restaurant doesn't try to be flashy. It's about real, good food. In a world where many places claim to be authentic, this one actually is.”

“The greatest pizza place I've ever gone to. They have the best pizza! The girls behind the desk are really kind and helpful, and the owners are beyond wonderful. The restaurant is really clean in addition to having fantastic food and service. During a rush, I witnessed the girls handling orders, answering phones, and clearing all the tables while I was dining there. Not only were they busy doing all of that the kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. Without a doubt, I'll return!”

Thats my first time but my relatives been here before and they liked it at the first time so are we. They have chikens and goats, small cows. “The BEST ice cream in the world! While turning onto the driveway to the Lapp farm we knew it would be special. There is meticulous grounds, farm cats and dogs, you can feed the cows and walk around the property. There is a drive through too for convenience but we like sitting on their enclosed porch and enjoy the views. On some days you may see cats walking around pleading for a taste of your ice cream and a dog sleeping (snoring).The store has freshly made waffle cones, fresh milk to drink there or take home. The chocolate milk tastes like a shake. If we could find a dry ice company near by we would take gallons of ice cream back home.It's the best!3/26/24 Update: Been coming here for over 15 years. Best of the best. If I were to ever start my own ice cream store in New Jersey, I would work a deal with Lapps to sell their brand in my shop.”

“We visit on every trip to Lancaster county. Love their pies, cookies, whoopie pies and especially their dinner and hamburger rolls. They also have good ice cream and will make you a shake. During the summer there is a food truck outside baking pretzels. They're also extremely helpful if there's something special you want they will make it for you, you can either call or order it while you're there and pick up the next day. Coconut cream pie is amazing. Pumpkin pie also amazing, and pumpkin custard pie is seasonal but definitely worth trying.”

“My wife and I stopped by on Friday evening. The house made 10" rolls are legit and made the sandwiches. I had the Johnny Boy and the meats were high quality and the truffle oil complimented the sandwich. Only minor (very minor) issue was that the thick cut mozzarella at times overpowered the meat. But only a minor issue. My wife had the Caprese sandwich and enjoyed it thoroughly. We will be back as the menu looks amazing and I need two work my way through a few other selections.”

“We enjoy the hot pretzels made on the property by very hard working Amish women. These enterprising women bring their children with them. We have dipped the pretzels in their cheese sauce. They are delicious.Inside their shop, are excellent products to purchase. Annie’s mustard is excellent. Some products are sold on Amazon but much more expensive.We visit the area a few times a year. We always stop here.We also stay at one of the Bird in Hand hotels/motels/B&B properties. The properties include “ free bus” tour of the Amish countryside with excellent orientation of the Amish people by van driver. We love this store.”

“The food for the two of us was ready in less than 10 min. The pulled pork on fries with cheese sauce and BBQ is delicious! My husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich also! The soft pretzels were soft and a definite recommend. The triple chocolate ice cream had an excellent flavor, but was perhaps a bit icy.”

This made it possible for our kids to play and my husband and I could have a conversation without interruptions! “My wife and I love Twin Valley Coffee. It is our weekly ritual to spend every Saturday morning enjoying a cold brew with caramel and sweet cream. The best coffee in the area and the service is fantastic. We also love to grind their Jamaican Me Crazy whole bean coffee at home. Simply the best!”

“I was dining with 4 others and one friend needed to plug in her O2 and the staff accommodated us quickly with smiles. Ruthie was our server and she was absolutely delightful! The meal started with delicious homemade rolls and peanut butter spread. I ordered meatloaf and mashed potatoes and peas and the servings were giant! Everything was delicious.
