I’ve been to this establishment a couple of times now. Unfortunately the last time that I came I ordered a chocolate avalanche danish, as well as an hashbrown Sammie with our coffees. Both of these very extremely dry and almost stale. The hashbrown was literally lik cardboard. Maybe it would’ve been better had it been warmed. The latte was good. I really hope they work on the bakery items, I’ve been a fan of this place but unfortunately for the prices the items should be freshly made and not frozen.

Before going, just read the responses the owner gives to negative feedback. That says everything about him. I don’t feel the need to defend myself as the customer or as a mother. This guy must have spent his entire life defending his being to everyone around him so now his trauma response is being a jerk. I feel so bad for him!
EDIT:::: To the owner, this is life with children. Pull your cc tapes! I’d love to see how NORMAL myself and the kids look being in a store. My kids grabbing packaged products is equivalent to grabbing something and reading the label at a grocery store before putting it back on the shelf. Why are you packaging products in the first place if you don’t trust the package keeps the products safe…….? I truly loved the drinks at RCC but you are insane! We’ve had an entire family night reading your responses to other customers though and for that I TRULY THANK YOU for the laughs.
ORIGINAL POST: Wow! This has been my go to coffee place for the last two seasons. I love their seasonal latte flavorings and usually have positive experiences until today. I have four children aged 6 and younger. My 2 year old grabbed two PACKAGED products out of their cooler that we put back after I already purchased a latte and pastry. One of the workers came up to me very rudely and told me he would be charging me if my baby grabbed another packaged product again. Will never be going back. Other places have just as great coffee with actual warm and inviting atmospheres. Wish I never recommended all my friends to this cafe. Bottom line, it’s just not a place for parents with young kids.

Wife wanted me to go the other week. It was crowded because the neighbor church just let out. Ordered two lattes. Just as good as everywhere else but 2x more expensive. Also read the review replies as per another customers suggestion……. We’ve lived here our whole lives and community is important to us, this owner clearly doesn’t care about people.

Fun and flavorful coffee flavors! Pecan fudge brownie, and sea salt caramel mocha are our favorite. Holiday flavors/ menu are amazing as well!

This place is one I will definitely go back to. Between the lovely atmosphere, great coffee, awesome customer service, and the vibe it is an overall amazing experience. I would recommend this to anyone going out with friends or just want a place to work in a calming atmosphere. Everyone is polite and generous and food is amazing. If you are in the area and need a place to stop I would recommend this as a must have place to stop at.

I absolutely adore their coffee and breakfast sandwiches, but today they completely caught me off guard. By mistake, I placed my order at the wrong spot. I felt quite let down by my own mistake, so I quickly reordered at the right location. Then, around 15 minutes later, I got a message saying they had refunded my initial order. Huge thanks to Reading Coffee Company. I was close to skipping breakfast due to my frustration, but thankfully goodness prevailed. See ya next Tuesday 🥰

I love to support small businesses but I don't trust a place that makes your breakfast sandwich with fake egg( bacon on it was decent though) Sandwich was very mediocre, coffee was a bit watered down and too sweet. Reminded me of drinking donuts and all a bit over priced for the quality. Ill make the extra stop elsewhere.

Tara helped us pick coffee beans today and she was amazing! Super helpful, super kind - perfect customer service experience! And the beans are fantastic! We have tried a variety of their beans in the past and all have been great. We take RCC beans back to Germany to bring this wonderful taste of Pennsylvania home with us <3
