Played at Tom's Run here a few months back....finally. Have stayed at the Hampton Inn before but wasn't golf season. The views here are beautiful as this course is tucked in-between a couple of mountain ridges. Immaculate is the word for this course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape! Saw some deer and groundhogs as well along the way so that was nice bonus. There was one hole on front 9 (don't remember #...maybe 7?) you have to stop the cart and walk up and across a bridge to get to Tee Box...it could use some attention as it was pretty slick going across the wet bridge. Other than that, this place is a must play! We have family living in Blairsville now so I will for sure book tee times when I visit out here!

Great service!

Attended my class reunion at this location. Service was good, the food on the other hand was terrible . Cash bar was okay but only 2 choices of beer were available.

Beautiful place to visit! Had lunch and reminiscent about my daughter's wedding there just years ago! Great atmosphere, great food!

We played Tom’s Run I’m going to say it is a good course, i think
the price is fair. I don’t think that Tom’s Run is significantly better (or any better) than chestnut. Greens= nice, very true, soft and held most shots into the green, good speed. It’s odd, the mower to cut the collars/fringe/grass adjoining the green must be broken. Very irregular from green to green, looks that it hasn’t been done in weeks , some areas have a 2 ft cut other parts are like 6 inches. Not indicative of a higher end track. Traps are not good as others mentioned in other reviews, the sandtrap machine was in there mixing it up in the past few days, you can mix it all you want, what they need is sand. One of my partners blew 4 sand shots over the green. Conditions were damp, fairway is thicker and spongier than other courses in the area, little roll on an early august day. Signs of burnt fairways were abundant, dead grass all over but playing from those areas did NOT seem to be a problem. Geese on and around the clubhouse holes, Lots of goose poop, lots.

Cart was excellent, shop was fine, pay your fee and move on. Saw the beverage girl once and the snack shack was not open . Beer was $3 very fair, cold and refreshing.

We went 9 holes without seeing another group in front of us, ran into a scramble event on the back 9, slow play from that point in. Played in 3:44. Pretty good

An enjoyable day, would play again, not sure i would rave to friends that it is a must play. Some great views of the Laurel mountains on the front 9

Great golf course. Went with brother in law while visiting the area. Would definitely play here again.

The Starter was a jerkoff. Traps were horrible. Save your money play somewhere else

Gary Shaw

Great course! Friendly staff! Traps are concrete at both courses. Everything was in really good shape, both courses even after a pretty heavy storm the night before both rounds.

Toms run is an absolute joke for the rate they charge. Huge bare spots in fairways and dirt/flooded bunkers that are worthy of ground under repair. Pro in the shop thinks he’s worth of some gold start from some outer planet. He sucks too.

My son had his wedding there. It's beautiful.
