One of the best breweries in the city of Pittsburgh. They do the traditional styles well ipas accidentally and absolutely knocked their last Bourbon barrel age Stout out of the park.
living here in Pgh we've been to most of the breweries but thought it'd be fun to try a bunch of one and dones today so thanks so much to Acclamation, East End, Old Thunder, Grist house and Penn brewery for being awesome, every time! If not for having to get home to the animals, CO Star, Hitchhiker, Dancing Gnome and Strange Roots would've been in that list. I love this city and am grateful to the brewers for brewing so much great brews and owners (if not the brewers)...
Modern brewpub with ample seating. Food is via a rotating schedule of food trucks. There is no table service - patrons go to the bar for drinks. Overall a very efficient operation. Beers are excellent and they serve several styles.
