Old Thunder is a fantastic brewery located in the heart of Blawnox. They have many high-quality beers on tap including cask beer. The inside is very cozy and modern being in the old post office. You can sit inside or outside and they have food trucks throughout the week if you get hungry.
One of the best breweries in the city of Pittsburgh. They do the traditional styles well ipas accidentally and absolutely knocked their last Bourbon barrel age Stout out of the park.
living here in Pgh we've been to most of the breweries but thought it'd be fun to try a bunch of one and dones today so thanks so much to Acclamation, East End, Old Thunder, Grist house and Penn brewery for being awesome, every time! If not for having to get home to the animals, CO Star, Hitchhiker, Dancing Gnome and Strange Roots would've been in that list. I love this city and am grateful to the brewers for brewing so much great brews and owners (if not the brewers)...
