“Incredible food, drinks and service! The atmosphere is lovely as well, it's a treat to dine in the garden when the weather is warm. They have very creative and delicious cocktails, I enjoyed their take on an old fashioned with chai tea and smoked cedar. I recommend ordering family style so you can try as much as possible. The roti with chicken curry, pork satay, tuna laab, 17 ingredient salad, stir fried morning glory and mushrooms, chicken jungle curry and khao soi beef cheek were all delicious!!! We also enjoyed the coconut ice cream and Thai custard for dessert, it's hard to go wrong here when everything on the menu is so good. Tables are hard to book, but if you can't get a reservation you can walk in if you show up 15-20 minutes before they open“

“I moved out of Pittsburgh and the only thing I miss is Thai Gourmet. It is a treasure and not only the best Thai food in Pittsburgh but the best overall food of all foods. I dream about this place. I'm planning a return visit only to eat here. Cherish every chance you get to eat here. If there is a heaven they serve Thai Gourmet food.“

“What a wonderful experience eating here! As a person with a strict gluten free diet, I loved being able to find a restaurant that not only offered gluten free items but items that could be made gluten free! Everything I have tried has been amazingly prepared, the staff is excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed and beautiful. I'll definitely be making this a favorite dinner place!“

“My friend and business colleague dined here for dinner. The service and food were amazing! It is a nice gem in Lawrenceville located near Children’s Hospital. We bought our wine which paired great. Can’t wait to go back. I love Thai food!“

“This was my first time at Thai Cuisine. This is a solid restaurant with great personality and amazing curry. I ordered the duck curry and the fried Thai rice with chicken. I also ordered the spring rolls. Everything was delicious and with the heat level that I requested. I strongly recommend this restaurant.“

“A very small restaurant tucked into a corner in Springdale. On a recommendation my wife and I tried it. The food excellent - I asked to medium spice and they delivered. My wife doesn't like spice and she loved her dinner. We were the only dinners so we had excellent service, friendly, thorough and well done. We will be going back soon.“

“We LOVE Kanlaya. Small family run business. Food is amazing and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Some of our family favorites: Crab Rangoon, Tom kha soup, Pad woon sen, pineapple fried rice, all the curry’s, and the fried banana dessert is so good. Take the 0-4 Spice level seriously. 😉 I get Spicy 1 and that is plenty spicy.“

“My daughter and I tried the Green Mango for the first time. We had the avocado summer rolls as an appetizer and the vegetarian drunken noodles and the pork with spicy basil as main courses. The owner spent time with us and answered all our questions. The food and service were both excellent. You’ve just gained two new customers!!“

“Honestly, Siam Thai has the best Pad Thai that I’ve ever had. Who knew the best would be in downtown Pittsburgh! Some weeks, I get it multiple times for dinner. The portions are large and worth the $$, which aren’t even unreasonable to begin with. I only wish Siam was open later in the evening, as I don’t get out of work until 7:30.“

“It was an amazing dine-in experience. We had such a great time..great staff, delicious food especially the Tapas! We had Pas Thai Veg and Noodles Curry with chicken and shrimp . They were nice. The Thai iced tea was so refreshing. We also loved the Siam Paragon-a must try for seafood lovers! The veg spring roll, corn fritters and the dumplings were great too. We loved visiting here and can't wait to go back. A very nice ambience to dine-in.
Kid-friendliness: We had an infant with a stroller and it was no hassle! Amole space in the restaurant.“

“Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. the steamed pork dumplings are addictive sometimes I'll just get 3 orders of those. Their Pad kee Mao is my favorite dish, the flat rice noodles hold the flavor amazingly and this is also the first Thai place I've ever encountered that a 10/10 spice is too much for me. 6-7 is so rich with spice without the overwhelming heat. I haven't had a single bad thing from here and have been going the for years now. best Thai food in Pittsburgh“
