I moved out of Pittsburgh and the only thing I miss is Thai Gourmet. It is a treasure and not only the best Thai food in Pittsburgh but the best overall food of all foods. I dream about this place. I'm planning a return visit only to eat here. Cherish every chance you get to eat here. If there is a heaven they serve Thai Gourmet food.
Thai Gourmet makes the best curry (pretty much all I order there) in Pittsburgh hands down. I have been ordering from here for the last 4 years and it has been amazing every single time (I usually get the red curry but they are all fantastic). I am moving out of the city and just ordered it for my last take-out meal in the city (my friends and I love it so much). I will miss this place more than any other restaurant in Pittsburgh!!

Thai Gourmet is a hidden gem serving authentic and delicious Thai cuisine. The restaurant offers fast and friendly service, with decently sized portions at a reasonable price. The classic street noodle dishes are cooked to perfection, with a good balance of spices and freshness. Customers have noted that the spice levels are great and consistently good. The decor may be dated, but the excellent culinary experience makes up for it. One signature dish is the Japanese Eggplant with chicken, often enjoyed at a spice level of 8. Another favorite is the see-ew with chicken, which is available in a lunch version that comes with soup and an egg roll, providing great value.
