I have to change my review from years as a 5 start to now, as I was there this weekend and was very disappointed, I knew it changed hands and unfortunately Ms. Steph has passed away, I wanted to give the new ownership a try when I was back in town, i was disappointed from the start of the phone order to the portions, the salad did not have sliced egg like before, and the sub seemed light on everything, plus did not get me my side of hot~! I will try again during fair week and...
Honestly bummed. I used to be a regular at Steph's till we moved. Was back in town and placed my usual order. The regular was good, but the chicken fillet sub was just a chicken tender on bread. Never had this issue in the past, so take that as you will.
We ordered two 12 inch cold subs from the online menu. When they were picked up the price was much more than shown the online menu, instead of $9 they were $15. My tuna sub was more celery then tuna. When questioned we were told that the online prices hadn't been corrected. I have no need to go back.
