What an unexpected and wonderful experience I had tonight. Grabbed some dinner here after drinks at a work event. Drinks, to apps, through entree were fantastic. It was the best meal I have had in quite some time across the country. The calamari is a must get. I will go out of my way the next time I am in the area to come back to the Blue Bell.
I brought friend from Austin, a skeptic when people rave about food at restaurants. She was so happy with her experience at Blue Bell Inn and raved about food and service. Food so delicious and beautifully presented by best server.
The upstairs dining room was quiet and well staffed. The filets were delicious. The burrata had a large amount of cheese, not enough toasted bread, and the avocado mousse was like flavorless whipped cream. Wish the tomatoes had more flavor. That said, we still finished it. Grilled shrimp was spicy and okay. The wait staff was very nice. This was a special occasion dinner, as we could not afford to spend this much money for a dinner out. We may return for a burger or just appetizers.
