I have loved Allenberry for years, but as of today (July 26 2025) I’m wondering if you switched restaurant managers or head chefs? We just had the strangest menu selections and did you change the interior of the Barn? It was perfect the way it was. You offer Chilean sea bass but the breeches is filled with trout yet don’t offer it? I can hear Gordon Ramseys voice in my head asking you guys why you don’t have something local and fresh. I’m no connoisseur, but meat/poultry/fish is best when sourced locally. A bit disappointed by this last visit. Will be back, because you’re a staple, but maybe not the time after next. We’ll see.

Wonderful place to eat, especially if youre traveling to see a show at the playhouse. We got there earlier than our reservation time, and they seated us immediately. The food was good and the service was excellent. A big shout out to our waitress, Brooke, who was not only efficent and friendly, but answered all of our questions with sincerety and knowledge, and made our day with her charming personality. She made our day!

We had dinner on the patio with friends. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was soothing and tranquil. We highly recommend this place.

Love the decor of this restaurant! Service was very good and fast! The prices are a little high and that is my only complaint. The Brussel sprouts starter are a must! Could use half of that and half the price but it's good to share. Would recommend the food.

The setting is very nice, the service was excellent, and the food is always excellent. My biggest complaint is when they seat us on a long bench shared by diners at adjacent tables. For the price, I expect a more private dining experience.

Waitress was very attentive to details based on what we wanted to eat as she caught my missing side which I didn't notice until she mentioned it lol. She was very kind to me and my wife. We have been eating there for quite some times and this recent visit is definitely my favorite.

We just moved to the area and are looking for a coffee & breakfast place. We were hesitant based on the reviews, but forged ahead and we are so glad we did! The grounds are gorgeous, the entrance (including the lovely music) set a beautiful stage, the welcome was warm and the atmosphere comfortable. My breakfast sandwich on a croissant was fantastic and the drip coffee was also very good. My husband very much enjoyed his breakfast burrito. The only suggestion I have is to not serve cream via the little foil cups. That's a small nit in an otherwise lovely experience.

My spouse and I had breakfast here this morning. The coffee and breakfast were delicious. The staff was pleasant and engaging. The cafe was clean and neat as a pin. The food service is not fast, but it is well worth the wait. I had the breakfast burrito and it was very flavorful and delivered hot.

Did the Mother’s Day brunch with my family & the food & atmosphere were wonderful. The staff was very friendly & helpful with such a large group. I would definitely recommend this venue

Thanksgiving buffet was horrible!!! NO TURKEY, NO MASHED POTATOES!!! Absolutely pitiful, we want a refund!!! For $80 each you’d expect a meal and better service and not to have to wait in lines forever, and for what?!?!? DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I was excited to order coffee at the cafe as we had never been before. It was very nice appearance wise, but that was the only nice thing about it. The service is absolutely horrible, and there is literally no sense of urgency from the staff. Ordered lattes, and they did not let us know until 20 plus minutes later, and all the other customers were already served that they could not locate the proper syrups. I received a refund and went over to the nearby Starbucks to be served in a much more polite and timely manner. It’s a shame when you are trying to support a small business and it ends up like this.

We visited for one night and stayed in the Pine Lodge. The whole property is beautiful! My favorite was the check-in lobby! So beautifully decorated and so inviting! Our morning walk was just perfect for the fall.

Allie was an amazing server! Very conversational and followed up with us periodically to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything related to food, drink, etc. Very pleased with our dining experience!!

Beautiful resort like atmosphere. Ordered Filet Medallions but they were more like 2 thin steaks. A bit salty for my taste. Wine selection is limited. Good happy hour 4-6 with $5 craft beer drafts. Great pretzel braids with beer cheese.

Our experience was a very nice dinner with a friend, 4 total. As per usual, we were greeted with a smile and ushered directly to our table. It took a hot minute to get drink orders in, but the service after that was very good. Erin was our waitress, and she was very kind, attentive, and was quick to grab us what we asked for. As for food, apps were killer, fries are always good, and I had the opportunity to try their deviled egg of the month which was honey mustard-ish, and very good. My only criticism on my steak was it was heavy handed with the salt. I love a well salt and pepper seasoned steak, but this was a bit to salt forward. My only complaint. My summation is that the service was great, the food was quite good (my wife also loved her martini), and the price is a bit more on the ‘resort' price feel, so it does feel a tad expensive for what you are getting. We will eat here again and again, as we live only miles away. The atmosphere is nearly unbeatable in the surrounding area.
