Thanksgiving buffet was horrible!!! NO TURKEY, NO MASHED POTATOES!!! Absolutely pitiful, we want a refund!!! For $80 each you’d expect a meal and better service and not to have to wait in lines forever, and for what?!?!? DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
I was excited to order coffee at the cafe as we had never been before. It was very nice appearance wise, but that was the only nice thing about it. The service is absolutely horrible, and there is literally no sense of urgency from the staff. Ordered lattes, and they did not let us know until 20 plus minutes later, and all the other customers were already served that they could not locate the proper syrups. I received a refund and went over to the nearby Starbucks to be served in a much more polite and timely manner. It’s a shame when you are trying to support a small business and it ends up like this.

We visited for one night and stayed in the Pine Lodge. The whole property is beautiful! My favorite was the check-in lobby! So beautifully decorated and so inviting! Our morning walk was just perfect for the fall.
Allie was an amazing server! Very conversational and followed up with us periodically to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything related to food, drink, etc. Very pleased with our dining experience!!
Beautiful resort like atmosphere. Ordered Filet Medallions but they were more like 2 thin steaks. A bit salty for my taste. Wine selection is limited. Good happy hour 4-6 with $5 craft beer drafts. Great pretzel braids with beer cheese.
Our experience was a very nice dinner with a friend, 4 total. As per usual, we were greeted with a smile and ushered directly to our table. It took a hot minute to get drink orders in, but the service after that was very good. Erin was our waitress, and she was very kind, attentive, and was quick to grab us what we asked for. As for food, apps were killer, fries are always good, and I had the opportunity to try their deviled egg of the month which was honey mustard-ish, and very good. My only criticism on my steak was it was heavy handed with the salt. I love a well salt and pepper seasoned steak, but this was a bit to salt forward. My only complaint. My summation is that the service was great, the food was quite good (my wife also loved her martini), and the price is a bit more on the ‘resort' price feel, so it does feel a tad expensive for what you are getting. We will eat here again and again, as we live only miles away. The atmosphere is nearly unbeatable in the surrounding area.
Another delicious meal at Allenberry! My husband and I ordered the pasta special. It was delicious! Our cocktails- also a special- were amazing! We are huge fans of the Brussels sprout appetizer and for dessert the sticky bun. You can't go wrong! Service was great!
Service was excellent! Becca our waitress was very attentive and helpful with our selections. Our food came out rather quick which made me a little skeptical but it was delicious! We had the rack of lamb and filet medallions and both were cooked to order. Walked around the grounds after and there was live music outside and just a beautiful venue. Highly recommend for a very enjoyable experience.
Deviled eggs were delicious and the burger was V good. Great char flavor. Server was excellent. Outside dining needs better lighting. Parking lot lighting was terrible at best. I found it very stuffy, not a real friendly vibe.
We very much enjoyed the Thursday night Barnburger special. Each of the four of us in our party ordered this & each of us had the same response, great burger! We finished our meal with the stick bun ala mode, not to be missed. The entire dining experience was enhanced by the live music provided by an exceptional artist.

Didn't like the deviled eggs. It was liquid not creamy and fluffy. Never seen a deviled egg done that way. Filet was thin it was not bad but i don't think it was worth $40. 25-30 yes
The restaurant and the decor is absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious. We went on a Thursday night and found out there was live music playing in the dining area. It was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. We had to shout at each other. I think the music would be perfect for outside or even a venue with a bigger room but way too much for the dining area. We were hoping the manager would ask the lead singer to turn down his speakers. Other than this, we loved everything about Allenberry. We will definitely be back with friends.
Our party of 6 enjoyed our experience from start to finish. Starting with beverages, you can not go wrong with the snickertini, and moving to meals, the rack of lamb is delicious, and of course dessert was amazing. The restaurant and grounds are beautiful and our server, Liana, was attentive and kind. We will certainly be returning.
The service was truly outstanding. I had iced tea to drink and had half glass remaining. It was still pretty warm after 5pm. The waitress asked if I would like a bit more ice. I've never been to any restaurant where a service person noticed something like that. There was no ice remaining in my glass. She brought more ice quickly. for my tea. It was a small moment which highlights the attention given to diners. We very much enjoyed our meal on the balcony . The entrees are perfectly cooked. We have eaten at The Barn twice before and I highly recommend the Skirt Steak entree with grits and corn salsa. We look forward to our next diniing experience at The Barn!
We enjoyed another lovely evening with friends from Gettysburg. The Brussels sprouts were fantastic, as usual. 3 of us had bowls and 1 had the lamb. All were very good. Wine and cocktails were also very good. This time we visited on a late Sunday afternoon because of the 6:00pm closing so it was not very busy and too hot to enjoy eating on the porch. It's always nice to introduce new folks to The Barn @ Allenberry and it's worth the drive from Lebanon.
