“We get take-out about once a week for 4 years (since the pandemic). Have never had a bad meal! Excellent food, large portions, great turnaround time and you are always met with a smile when checking out! The chicken parm, baked ziti and chicken bacon ranch pizza & Benny's sub are some of our faves!Vegetarian options: Often ordered ziti, stuffed shells, vegetable pizza and tuna sub (pescatarian).Dietary restrictions: Have gluten free pizza.Parking: Small lot directly in front of building. “Paul (at the desk) was very pleasant and helpful before and during check in. He is a nice young man and probably deserves a raise. Rooms were very clean. The grounds around The Pine Lodge were not maintained. Mowed but not maintained. Recent trees removed and large pile of mulch were not the problems. Community refrigerator and microwave is questionable. Would suggest that each room have their own.”

And although no music this time, we again enjoyed the dining, ambiance and service. Ethan, our server, was attentive without being too attentive, and took our drink orders and food orders with a friendly smile. My wife tried the vegetable quiche and was very happy. I did my usual, the Eggs Benedict... but being vegetarian, the kitchen accommodated me by swapping in mushrooms and spinach for the normal Canadian bacon. And once again, did a delicious and wonderful job. It was delicious. So an excellent experience, and highly suggested!”

“Delicious food last evening for dinner. Service was good, very attentive to us while we were dining. Food was fantastic from salad to baklava cheesecake. Anything I've ordered here has been wonderful including the pork souvlaki with Greek seasoned fries I had last night. Ambiance was fine, except the waterfall window was a little distracting and made me kind of dizzy if I focused on that. Wonderful place to eat for any occasion.”

“Exactly what I imagine Caribbean food to be like. Flavorful, different. Falling off the bone. They do that thing where they leave the bones in, but cut through like they are not there, so you end up with a lot of bone fragments, at least in some dishes. Very similar to what I had in Dominican ”

“I’ve traveled all over the country and have been to many diners, but no where has been as good as The Hamilton. The food is absolutely amazing and they do not cut corners. I ordered the beef club and this is the only diner I’ve been to that makes their own roast beef and uses it in their sandwiches. They also have the BEST coleslaw, I’ve had anywhere. If there is one restaurant to define Carlisle, PA, it would be this one. Give it a try and you won’t regret it! Just remember to bring cash, they do not take credit cards.”

“Great coffee shop & cafe!! I needed a place to get lunch & join a zoom meeting while driving on the tpk. This place was great for both & ~5 min off the hwy. Tasty food, sandwiches, salad, breakfast, baked goods, delicious coffee, cute dishes, and friendly staff. Also, on a weekday at noon, it was lively but enough free tables to sit for my meeting. I would be here frequently if I lived nearby.”

“We’ve been living in Mechanicsburg for quite some time, and this is one of our go to pizza spots. I love the Italian subs from here and my husband loves pepperoni pizza from here. Even when my mom comes to visit, she stops by here to get a good sub. The service is great.”

However, they have food trucks a lot of the time, so check in with them if you want to eat and aren't bringing your own food.Some truly award winning ciders here, the (Bartender? Don't know what to call them specifically) was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of good suggestions. We came out loving the CrabApple cider, although it might be too sour for the tastes of many, but left with three different growlers of cider, so I'm sure there is something for you.Also, on a good day, expect to enjoy the view!”
