“I’ve been coming to Candy Mountain Creamery with my family for a while now, and it’s always been one of our favorite spots. The ice cream is great, and the overall atmosphere has usually been welcoming and relaxed at both the store and the ice cream truck.

That’s why this recent visit stood out in a disappointing way. There was an older employee working who made the environment feel noticeably tense and uncomfortable. There was also a bit of an attitude during our interaction—it felt like I had annoyed or interrupted her while she was doing a task, which made the experience feel unwelcoming. This was very different from the positive experiences we’ve had here in the past. Even the kids noticed it.

I’m sharing this because it felt so out of character for this place. I hope it was just an off day, as we’ve really enjoyed coming here and would love to continue supporting the business.”

“I am not a Starbucks person. Most places it's bitter and just overly sweet. The crew we nice and also recommended a great fall beverage for me!! It was really GOOD! Wasnt bitter at all and a great blend of coffee with the apple flavors. I for real plan to come out here again as a little treat for myself!”

“We had a tech glitch (or user error maybe??) and my corporate order for 11 sandwich trays was not submitted. When I called to confirm with the original Subway location they didn't have the order and they couldn't really help me. I called around and this location took care of me within hours and saved me from 80 hungry people. I can not thank you enough!!! Great job and the sandwich trays were so well marked that it made it easy to set up. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!”

“I did two mobile orders here in one day; one early morning and one in the evening. I selected my food and marked that I was there 5 minutes early. My food was hot and ready on the counter when I arrived. Very fast service. This is along an extremely busy highway so it depends on time of day for getting in and out of here.”

“The workers at each location either make or break these small places. This one does pretty good. Workers are pleasant, food is correct, and they don't tell you to pull forward out of line when you're the only one on the property.
So far it beats the nearest mcdonalds in every one of those categories by a mile 🤷‍♂️”

“We went the other night and were not disappointed at the food or service. However the price was high and this is not critical but the ambiance was not there. The tables were so close that we could hear everyone's conversation. Also it was very hard to hear what the owner was saying when he was telling us the specials. There is no liquor available and you must bring your own BOB and for the price of the entrees, it would have been nice to be able to do this. Again I will say the food was exceptional but suggestions would be to leave more space between diners, lower the lightening, possibly use tablecloths rather than place mats. All in all, it was a nice one time restaurant but probably would not go again.”

“Great food for breakfast, lunch, and supper! Their burgers are extremely tasty and are very fresh! The chicken sandwiches are very delicious as well. Some of my personal favorites from here are: Double Cheeseburger with bacon, PepperJack cheese, and spinach. Fried chicken breast or grilled, with PepperJack cheese, spinach, and BBQ sauce on a sandwich bun or as a wrap. Sometimes I’ll have bacon added to it as well. Their fresh cut fries and fresh made chips are also very tasty with most any meal. Overall their pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, are great choices for breakfast. Bacon is always a given with any of those choices. The staff is very friendly and courteous. There are definitely times where it gets busy, but it’s well worth the wait.”

“We had dinner this evening at the Water Shed Pub. What an enjoyable evening!!!! The appetizer we started with was the karaage chicken. I can’t explain how the flavors come together for this dynamic appetizer but, Wow! It was fantastic!!! Our entrees of the scallop po boy…..( yum!!! )…… and the seafood enchiladas……. ( oh my goodness!!! ). …were delightful!! So, so delicious!!!! Sweet potato pie and pumpkin cheesecake ice cream were an amazing ending to a superb meal!!! We’ll definitely be back soon! There’s lots more on the menu that we can’t wait to try!!!”
