“Took my oldest son who was heading back to college in a few days for a calzone. Excellent. Their spinach Calzone was amazing. They have so many great items on their menu and their specials look and taste awesome too. Service was fast and friendly. We even had a little bit of "entertainment" (reminded me of when all 3 of my sons were little and we'd go out).So glad to have this gem of a restaurant close by.Go check it out. “This was the best Subway experience we've had in a while. The restaurant (including the bathroom) was clean, in fact the worker was cleaning the vents when we walked in the door. He washed his hands before making our sandwiches. The food was fresh and he didn't skimp on the ingredients. He was courteous and professional.”

“I stopped at the Pizza Shop a few years ago because my "go to" pizza shop was closed. The staff are great, always joking around when I come in. Their pizza, cheese steak subs, and calzone have the other pizza shops beat hands down. I have not been to the "other' pizza shop since that day and don't plan on it. If you are craving pizza or subs this is definitely the place to go!! You won't be disappointed!!”

“Stopped here for the first time today for a hot Latte and a Chocolate Chip Cookie. The cookie was phenomenal and the coffee was delicious. This organization helps children in need who are in the foster care system. They help with financial planning, development of daily skills, help these youth obtain a driver's license and much more.I was very happy to support this organization. The service was great. A minor hickup on our drink order that they immediately corrected and apologized for. The staff is very friendly.”

“I've dined here on multiple occasions and never leave disappointed. From the wings, to the cheesesteaks/chicken cheesesteaks and occasionally their breakfast, the food is always hot/fresh. This place does get pretty busy, so I'd suggest getting your order in early. But let me just say the Ranch on Ranch on Ranch Wings and the Chicken Cheesesteak are my absolute FAVORITE!! The owner(Shannon) always keeps the place clean. His staff are always very attentive and respectful.”

“It has been some time since we stopped by Reeser's--I think we were coming back from a tubing trip--so we were all hot and in good spirits from the days adventures. We saw a sign for ice cream--smashed the brakes and whipped the Honda Pilot into the parking lot. We were thrilled by what we found--the sundaes(?) were creative and I recall lots of fresh fruit. We love walk up ice cream spots like this... will return if we are in the area.”

“THIS is a diner! As such you will not receive gourmet plates. However you will receive decent food at an incredible price. Burgers, breakfast, specials, desserts... All good (and possibly covered in copious amounts of gravy). You can't go wrong here. Even if it were possible, you'd be out less than $10. What's not to like?EDIT for 2023 - prices have, of course, edged up a bit, but this place is still a bargain and still worth stopping by.”

“I just got back to work from having lunch here with my husband. We ordered a Large Philly Cheesesteak and cheese fries. the cheeesteak was easily almost 2 ft long and super filling. The fries were delicious and all under $20. The customer service was kind and quick. We dined in and had a very peaceful lunch. Thanks Patriot Pizza! we will be back”

“What a lucky find! We stopped en route to Maryland and they could not have been nicer. The service was fantastic, and they were able to accommodate the disabled members of my family without question or hesitation, even opening a different section of the restaurant for us to all be able to sit at a table together. The food was brought out quickly, our drink refills were ready before we even asked, and I had the best diner burger I've had in years. I highly recommend this place!!”

“My husbands review: Wine list: Nice and extensive, however no sparkling sweet wine offered. The only Moscato wine offered was from Spain instead of Italy, and it was too dry. Ambiance: Atmosphere perfect setting of time period tavern. The artwork did not match the time period mood. Different nations theme did not work for me. The background music was nice, yet the sound level of all the guests was a little moderate. Menu: Chef seems very talented, yet his/her menu was all over the place. The mix of food was so heightened that my date could not find a single dish that did not contain something she does not eat. WE did review the menu online before making reservations. Unfortunately the online menu was different than the actual menu at the restaurant. Simpler dishes could be offered for the less palleted. Service: The waitress seemed new. She forgot her pen. She forgot our bread. When asked if something could be held out of a dish she said that it would be too complicated, and to order something else. Other then that, she has a very nice personality. Over All: I commend them for trying to bring five star dining to the area, when there is literally none, however for the price, some fine tuning needs to be done, before I would dine there again.”

“A long time favorite for many locals for a very long time! Great, FRESHLY baked (on site) soft pretzels. In addition to the "standard" pretzel shape, Smittie's offers large pretzel "sticks" and bite-sized as well. (Also miscellaneous items like soda/ non alcoholic drinks).The location is a renovated, roadside type stand, (look for the white "lighthouse" on top) and has very friendly staff. Smittie's is well worth the time to stop in and enjoy a local, traditional treat.Smittie's is in the northern, rolling hills of York County, PA. The road (PA Route 74, just north of Dover, PA) is often used by area residents in the Autumn for good fall foliage viewing. The nearby Gifford Pinchot State Park is worth visiting for pretty views any time of year!NOTE: Parking is a bit tricky at times (just depends on random timing, space for a few cars) and is just off a well paved roadway (PA Route 74), northbound side. (The road is not divided, so you can access the parking lot from southbound or northbound).”

“I had been wanting to try Thea since they opened and finally had a chance to go for dinner last night. Overall, Thea was a great experience! The appetizers were my favorite. We got the calamari and fried buratta (which was a special). My entree was the meatloaf which wasn't as great as I had hoped, but also not bad. I want to go back and try a pasta dish next time and also dessert (they all sounded fantastic). Reservations recommended and BYOB!”

“The pork was tender and the amount was generous for the pork BBQ sandwich. I enjoyed each of the offered BBQ sauces with the mild BBQ being my favorite for this sandwich. Hushpuppies were perfectly crispy without being dense inside and the baked beans were a flavorful blend of beans. This was a lunch stop during a brief roadtrip. If you're in the Harrisburg area you need to stop at Road Hawg BBQ.”

“Probably bought 4-5 bushels in last 3 years. Just purchased bushel of large crabs yesterdayEvery single crab was heavy and a legitimate large crab. I’m from Baltimore originally and would stack Grappling Crab with any crab location in Maryland.As expensive as crabs are these days you want to get your money’s worth. We certainly did. Highly recommend”
