Service and atmosphere is truly great. Ordered a breakfast sandwich...$9 dollars mind you....with overcooked and tasteless eggs and 1 jimmy Dean sized sausage patty..would have been better to get the 2 for $6 breakfast sandwiches at sheetz. Others in my party had and omelet and breakfast plate...same comments...small portions ( for a $14 plate) that was overcooked and tasteless. Home fries we no fresh and obviously came frozen in a bag.

Horribly inattentive wait staff - we left after being seated and then not acknowledged for 15 minutes… and it wasn’t crowded. Not the first time we’ve been frustrated by the wait staff. We are local but won’t be back.

Great breakfast on the patio.

The breakfast was very good. Service was a little off but very polite. The portions were very good. I would say, pay some attention the detail on the outside.

This place is sad... I was excited to try it for the 1st time. Went there around noon for lunch on a Thursday.... place had 5 tables full and they said it would be a 15min wait. 1 cook and 1 host and 1 server... not wasting my time again. Parking is horrible also

It’s such a great location and food is pretty good but service is Horrible and slow. I have gone back a few times hoping it would be better and it’s not. My dad who has a walker was standing there and no one offered him a seat even though there were tables everywhere, the server just said he would go inside and ask for a table for us.

Cafe 101 unfortunately, I think has gone down in quality and up in price. The chimichanga I got was soggy. The guacamole was such a disappointment. There was too much lime, way too much. $50 for 2 quesadillas and a soggy chimichanga.. We used to go here on a somewhat regular basis but I can’t say I will go there anytime soon.

We stopped in for lunch on a Monday. There was no wait for a table but it filled up quickly. It’s a small place but there is some outdoor patio seating. We ordered the ultimate bowl and a shrimp quesadilla. Both were very good. Our server was friendly and attentive. A nice view of the lake when you are finished eating or while you eat if you sit outside. I had been here once before, probably about a year ago, for a dinner meeting and had tacos - they were good as well. I’d for sure go here again.

Parking: We parked on the street. No problem finding a spot. There might be a small lot out back - not 100% sure.

What an awesome place in the center of Boiling Springs! They cater to AT hikers with delicious breakfast and lunch options. We enjoyed the coffees, as well as the hearty sandwiches. You can sit on the outside patio or inside the Cafe. Delightfully friendly service just a short walk from the AT with plenty of parking available.

Their guacamole was so good! The food was fresh, and it was a beautiful day to eat on their patio. Service was very slow, though.
