Service and atmosphere is truly great. Ordered a breakfast sandwich...$9 dollars mind you....with overcooked and tasteless eggs and 1 jimmy Dean sized sausage patty..would have been better to get the 2 for $6 breakfast sandwiches at sheetz. Others in my party had and omelet and breakfast plate...same comments...small portions ( for a $14 plate) that was overcooked and tasteless. Home fries we no fresh and obviously came frozen in a bag.
We stopped in for lunch on a Monday. There was no wait for a table but it filled up quickly. It’s a small place but there is some outdoor patio seating. We ordered the ultimate bowl and a shrimp quesadilla. Both were very good. Our server was friendly and attentive. A nice view of the lake when you are finished eating or while you eat if you sit outside. What an awesome place in the center of Boiling Springs! They cater to AT hikers with delicious breakfast and lunch options. We enjoyed the coffees, as well as the hearty sandwiches. You can sit on the outside patio or inside the Cafe. Delightfully friendly service just a short walk from the AT with plenty of parking available.
