Cheryl is quite a character. She is very welcoming. We visited on a recent trip to Pittsburgh. Fish dinner and sandwich were good. Mac and cheese really good.
I had the pleasure of stopping in for a sweet potato pie, it was fresh out of the oven. While it was cooling I tried a peach cobbler, it was so delicious, I was totally blown away. Definitely felt the love in each bite. I took the sweet potato pie to my family and they LOVED IT! Thank you, Aunt Cheryl, you made my day much sweeter!
They gave me the smallest two pieces of whiting for $10 so it’s an 3 out of 10 for me. And make sure you ask for lettuce, onion, and tomato because it doesn’t come with the sandwich.
The fried fish and chicken was amazing and the apple cobbler was just as amazing

Idk how this place is still open!! I called them and asked are they open she said yeah! I said are yall taking orders on the food delivery apps she said yes Uber eats and Grubhub! So me and my son abt to out of town so i order off Uber eats it wasn’t even 20 mins and they canceled my order after I already just called and ask! Like this the 3rd time I’ve tried to order from them and the order got canceled! I thought they was one of the best soul food places but customer service here is terrible!! Pls do better!!

The owner Cheryl is very unprofessional, she takes orders knowing she don’t have enough food. She got mad when told she is unprofessional.
The chicken was fried too hard. The greens was tasteless . The yellow rice had hard and soft pieces I had to spit it out. The pumpkin pie was dried out and flakey may have been old . Very disappointed being this is black owned . Wouldn’t

Visiting from out of state, we went for the Rivers Of Steel industry tour then wanted lunch. Got the Chicken and Waffle and some pies. Generous 4 pieces of boneless chicken, lightly breaded and fried, moist and tasty. Waffle was a waffle. Cash only; they could probably get more business if they accepted credit cards. Located in the basement of the the Nyia Page Community Center, which is the old First Presbyterian Church. The double doors have a mural pf Aunt Cheryl painted on them; otherwise there is little signage and you might drive right by the place and not spot it.Update: the pies were good, had the peach and sweet potato.
