Delicious food, great service and awesome vibes! The basque cheesecake for dessert was our absolute favorite.
Also so cool that they have a black box theater in there, such a smart set up!!

One word AMAZING!!!
My sister and I made a random stop here and ordered the burgers and they was absolutely amazing. So we decided to come back and I tried the Ahi Tuna let me tell you the best piece of tune I’ve had in a long time.
I definitely will be back!!

Delicious food! We can't wait to come back and try more. The space is modern & comfortable. Loved the flowers on each table and general decor. We tried the Huli Huli Chicken and Steak Frites and both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We just wish the portions were bigger. More fries with the steak would've definitely made it worth the cost and my chicken could've used a bit more veggies side. Going up to the bar to order is a bit awkward as then the seat you chose isn't saved while your gone. I'm surprised they don't use QR codes to order from your table. That way people can still order without a server and without leaving their seats. We had to ask if we had to go back up to the bar to pick up the food or if it would be brought over. They use table service for everything except ordering which we have never experienced before.

Recently took my family here and everyone loved it and continues to talk about how they can’t wait to go back. This is huge because my family rarely branches out and tries new places. I’ve been to Braddock Public House and have enjoyed my visits each time. The atmosphere is inviting and makes you want to go over and over. They have a great selection of BG beers and the menu is so unique! I loved the deviled eggs at brunch and the skillet cinnamon rolls were SO GOOD. I can’t wait to go back! Plus, the parking is amazing which was a huge plus for my family.

A creative menu. My katsu curry was fragrant, and the panko chicken it included was crunchy on the outside, tender inside. The spam musubi was tasty and new for me and my companions. Atmosphere mellow and cozy, and so interesting that the big windows face a US Steel mill. Truly old meets new in Braddock!

Tried the real deal Spam musubi for the first time at Braddock Public House. I now get why Hawaiians never let this secret out. Then came the karaage chicken wings… legit the best wings of my waking moments. Juicy like KFC but wrapped in a cloud-like fluffy potato starch batter that had me questioning reality. It was also served with a miso dill ranch sauce, delightful.
Braddock, you keep surprising me. Next time around I'm going to try the recommended Katsu Sando (sandwich) and dessert pierogis. I heard tomorrow a new menu is being planned with some new menu items including katsu curry and a tuna dish.
The story behind this place runs deep: the building was once home to Superior Motors, Kevin Sousa’s groundbreaking restaurant that gained international acclaim for bringing fine dining to Braddock, right across from the town’s steel mill. The property itself is owned by Senator John Fetterman, who has lived upstairs with his family for years and was instrumental in reimagining Braddock’s future through food and community projects like the Free Store.
Today, the space has a new life as Braddock Public House, led by Matt Katase (originally from Hawaii) and Alaina Webber, the team behind Brew Gentlemen. Katase first came to Pittsburgh to study at Carnegie Mellon University, where he and Asa Foster dreamed up the idea of starting a brewery. Brew Gentlemen opened in 2014 just down the street, helping fuel Braddock’s cultural revival with craft beer and a focus on neighborhood growth. Now, with the Public House, Katase and Webber are carrying that same mission forward — blending global flavors with local roots, and proving Braddock is still one of the most exciting food stories in Pittsburgh.

Great spot, great food. Go for the kielbasa and pierogies. The kielbasa had a perfect snap and smokiness, and the pierogies came with a delicious dill cream sauce. Also try the General Braddock's beer!

The Braddock Public House is a wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious! The slaw is spectacular. The decor of the space is great and fresh flowers on the tables make it welcoming.
