The recent Pulp Fiction food and beverages screening was the ABSOLUTE BEST!! Our group agreed this was the most entertaining, filling and delectable fun we have had in years! (and we go out a lot!) Hats off to Kevin Sousa and his wonderful band of creative and caring people for working together on such a successful event! We can't wait for the next one. Jennifer Chontos
Delicious food, freshly prepared, and nicely paced. Outstanding staff and super knowledgeable. Thank you, Jason! We will be back. Thoroughly enjoyable!
Awesome, and incredibly fresh and bright food. Everything comes out looking and tasting delicious. It's creative, high end, yet casual. Great service. Fun drinks. A gem.
Absolutely delicious gourmet food, expertly prepared using healthy, varied fresh ingredients. A culinary delight, the atmosphere is also terrific, and the service superlative. A "must"!
Fantastic experience, excellent evening. We will return soon. Thank you for a great experience.
Early on a Sunday, before the rush so nice quiet meal. Service was excellent. The staff really knows the menu, is attentive and timely and very friendly. The food and drink were outstanding. Everything we tried we really enjoyed and savored. Well worth a visit and many returns.
The food was amazing! We tried something from every option and each had an amazing flavor and presentation! Speciality drinks are always delicious. The atmosphere is always cozy and mild in noise so you can hear your conversation. The entire staff that we interacted with our superb.
delicious food, cool space, great service. Some of the best raw fish in the city. Love going on a Wednesday or Thursday, when they often offer fixed price tasting menus and other specials!
We arrived in time for our reservation--restaurant was busy but no host/hostess at the desk? we stood there for several minutes and it was getting uncomfortable; several staff walked past as if we weren't even there? They never made eye contact, never said "someone will be with you shortly." NOTHING. Finally seated, the server explained that the portions were "more like tapas-size so I would recommend ordering an item from each of the categories." So, that meant a $12 salad (which was a splatter of greens) think of an amount that would be on top of an entree? The tomato bisque was delicious($7). My main "entree" was 3 scallops (delicious) but at $28??? so my meal alone was about $47 and VERY LIGHT in portion size. Ordered a cocktail for $12: delicious but there was so much ice in the small glass, it was more like sipping rather than "having a drink." The food was good and I wanted to love the place and the farm to table format, but jeez, at those prices/portion sizes I wouldn't recommend.
Extremely good fine dining in a very interesting area located across from a steel mill in Braddock. The dishes were like individual works of art and for what they were very reasonably priced. I've been to a few other fine dining restaurants here in Pittsburgh that had more expensive food and they couldn't even compete with the level that elevates Superior Motors.

My kind of place, sheet warehouse atmosphere, the waitress was spectacular, new the answer to every question we had from appetizer thru desert. Prompt efficient and polite. The food was fresh and delicious. The noise level was a bit high but not bad. I will be back.
We sat at the bar and were able to see the chefs as well as the bartenders. This made things interesting and lively, but it might be difficult to have conversations with more than 2 or 3 people. Food was creative and delicious. We ordered 5 dishes that were a combination of courses and shared them all. We left with our bellies and palates very pleased.
We really enjoyed our visit. We have been looking forward to going for some time and it was worth the trip. The food was excellent, as was the service, and the ambiance. I love where it is located as well. Not only does the area need an economic shot in the arm, but the steel plant made it a cool, industrial sort of experience. We will go again for sure.
Superior Motors deserves a Michelin Star. It doesn't have one, but that's your benefit because it's way less expensive than most Starred restaurants. You cannot go wrong here. All food and drinks are phenomenal.
Some of the best food we’ve had in Pittsburgh! We both enjoyed our starters immensely. My wife had lamb and I had crab, both incredible! The portion was very modest for the crab but the lamb was a healthy portion. Our main dish was also incredible! My wife had the pork with a cheese addition and I had beef with smoked potatoes. The beef had a few tough pieces at the end that were over cooked but the center pieces were juicy and delicious. We ended the meal with strawberries and cream. It was so decadent! But if you like dessert and want to feel like you ate a normal amount, don’t share. It was definitely a portion for one :) def give it a try if you are in Pittsburgh! Well done Chef Sousa!
