Tried again, got ripped off. I try this place every summer just to see if it's gotten back to how good it was years ago. This summer was another disappointment.
We tried ordered 2 cones. Nothing fancy other than I requested the fudge dipped cone they advertised. The guy said there wasn't any but he could put a little fudge on top. Sure, ok seemed fair. My husband ordered a basic cone with a new flavor of ice cream. What we got was a double scoop (only ordered a single) in a cup for my husband and a bowl of ice cream with fudge all over it and charged for a double cone and an ice cream sundae.
They are forever out of things, the food that gets cooked is no longer soft (pretzels) or fresh tasting, they over charge every chance they get and the woman has an attitude if you dare ask for something like a side of cheese while ordering (I was trying to order it with the pretzel so we could pay the extra, so it's not like I was trying to dodge paying).
Ultimately sadly this place use to be the go to stop when my kids were younger. They couldn't wait to go every summer.... Now it's an emergency stop if we ABSOLUTELY need ice cream and even the gas stations machine is down or they are out of ice cream. I'll keep trying once a summer in hopes they get their groove back. I miss the old place.

First time getting ice cream from here, it was delicious! I got the graham canyon in a cone, it had graham crackers and sponge candy. It ended up being one of my new favorite ice creams. Would definitely be back again, my family went to the Zippo festival and stopped here afterwards.

Huge selection of ice cream and other food. The owner was also very accommodating for our son with special dietary needs. Highly suggest making a pit stop if you are camping in Allegany!

Went there while car was being inspected next door (10/7/24). Food was absolutely amazing. Got double bacon cheese burger, onion rings, Texas Hots dog, and a banana split. Service was fast, amazing and the girls were so kind. We don’t usually enjoy food in outside places very often due to a picky palate but we will 100% be returning. Enjoyed every single bit of it.

It was ice cream, the service was very slow. As empathetic about staffing issues as we can be it is just not enough to have one person doing everything. The day I was there they were partnering with vfw which is why they got the third star
