Such a great vintage building! The ice cream is so good; definitely leagues above store-bought ice cream. The baked goods and chocolates are fantastic too, and the meandering store carries a variety of gifts, toys, candies and miscellaneous items. You also have the option to enjoy your treats in a darling ice cream parlor or a lovely garden cafe area outside the building.

Lots of options for cake, ice cream, candies and other kinds of sweets. The entire shop is extremely well decorated and has free parking too.

The shop itself is very cute, but it’s also a bit old and feels like that. The chocolates from the counter are not that good and the lady who helps you is not very helpful, enthusiastic, or friendly. When I asked her what was in a truffle she told me to read the description of all the chocolates on the wall because she didn’t know. The coconut cake was not good, the frosting is alright, just something is off about it for me. Cake itself was dry.

Premise Maid was a treat since I was a kid, and still is to this day. Inside, you feel like you walked into a story book, with the stuffed characters posed in cute scenes. There's a great variety of chocolates and candies and seasonal collectibles to choose from. In another room you can choose your own custom mix of candies in any size box- half pound, 2 pounds... you decide. There's also an ice cream shop, and it's open all year. At Christmas, its especially magical. Their cakes are to die for.

But the real cherry on top is the chocolate outlet right there. It's a brilliant addition! After satisfying your ice cream cravings, you can browse through an amazing selection of chocolates, perfect for a little treat to take home or even a gift. It really adds to the overall experience and gives you another reason to linger.
Seriously, if you're looking for a place where everyone from the youngest to the oldest can enjoy delicious ice cream and a great atmosphere, this is it. We'll definitely be back soon!

Went there for my dad birthday to get candy the young man was so rude like we were bothering him and was not only us the couple in front of us the same thing the place is beautiful and candy is amazing but to be treated like that when your spending 100 dollars on candy makes you never wanna go back when asked if could please have gift wrapped it was a problem as well so left very upset and no gift wrap I get everyone has a bad day but the way he treated us and couple in front of us was very unkind

This is one of the best ice cream places I visited. They have every flavor and I like most is the sugar free vanilla, I wish they add other flavors with auger free. Two weeks ago we accidentally tried this place and last week we went back again driving 30milea from my home. The taste is sooo good 30 mile drive is well worth

This place is like a magical wonderland escape from the real world. Funky nick knacks and gifts, and amazing food: baked goods, hard candy, chocolates of all kinds, ice cream, and so much more. The shoppe seems to go on and on and on throughout this adorable cottage. The service was amazing too. Do yourself a favor and get some whoopee pies, chocolates and ice cream!

Awesome ice cream, especially if you are a chocolate lover. You can get a cup, cone, or waffle varieties. If you are passing by, I’d stop for the ice cream for sure, but don’t forgot boy some homemade candies too!

Best ice cream on the planet!!

Great plain vanilla ice cream. 😋 They have ice cream in one area and a bakery in another area (which has a nice shoofly pie). A few of their flavors ice creams are the best in their flavor that I've encountered, listed below:

Shoofly pie: delicious and tastes like a shoofly pie got scattered throughout an ice cream and infused with its sweet essence. You probably wouldn't have guessed the flavor of shoofly is supposed to be... molasses. Because its flavor is unique and might be quite unlike any molasses flavor you've tasted.

Pumpkin: one of the best in my journeys, as pumpkin ice cream elsewhere is typically hit or miss with places, but Premise Maid got it right! The flavor is only seasonal though.

Egg nog: the yummiest so far, as elsewhere egg nog is typically bad or blah at many places, and again Premise Maid got it right, nice and creamy and most importantly it's yum! 😋
