Such a great vintage building! The ice cream is so good; definitely leagues above store-bought ice cream. The baked goods and chocolates are fantastic too, and the meandering store carries a variety of gifts, toys, candies and miscellaneous items. You also have the option to enjoy your treats in a darling ice cream parlor or a lovely garden cafe area outside the building.
Premise Maid was a treat since I was a kid, and still is to this day. Inside, you feel like you walked into a story book, with the stuffed characters posed in cute scenes. There's a great variety of chocolates and candies and seasonal collectibles to choose from. In another room you can choose your own custom mix of candies in any size box- half pound, 2 pounds... you decide. There's also an ice cream shop, and it's open all year. At Christmas, its especially magical....
