Chicken Wings near Brownsville

“Today was my first time eating at the Pizza Plug. I walked in and ordered my pizza in person. The girl at the counter was very friendly. The pizza’s were delicious. The crust was fresh and soft. The sauce wasn’t overpowering like so many other pizza shops sauce is. Now I want to go back and try other items. Based on my one experience I would definitely recommend the Pizza Plug.Parking: There’s a large parking area at the rear of the building.“

“I don’t usually do reviews but for this I felt like I had to! The menu is amazing and different from anything else in the area. I had a chicken sandwich today and it was by far the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in a long time. The sandwich my husband got was great and so was the ahi tuna appetizer… The restaurant itself is clean and beautifully remodeled. My husband and I are planning on making Vesta 88 a permanent place in our night out rotation!“

The Sassy Garlic is my go-to, but I have to say that they are all pretty damned good.The pepperoni Roll entree is interesting, to say the least. It is absolutely massive!!! “Just made my fourth visit tonight.... Didn't want to leave a review until I got to try them several times and it was an easy decision to leave a five star. Double cheeseburg hoagie, Jimmy datillo steak sub, boneless wings, big fine woman 3000, generous portions, not skimpy with the sauce at all. They make sure every wing is thoroughly coated and that there is plenty of extra sauce! Everybody knows that the sauce makes the wing! A little slow, call ahead and give the crew time to work their magic. Definitely the best sauce selection anywhere in the area. All of my orders were very accurate and I had several special requests. Would definitely recommend.“

“This was a very nice place. I went there for the wings on Wednesday night and they were extremely good. They have different types of rubs and sauces to choose from. The place was really clean, the crowd was quiet respectful with a lot of family there. Everybody was hanging out and having a good time eating wings.“

“I want to acknowledge the amazing efforts on the part of the ONLY employee working last night. I personally would have felt extremely defeated to attempt to do absolutely everything all by myself. This individual took orders, made the food, packaged it and then assisted the customers with payment. (Not to mention the mess she would take care of at the end of her shift to close.) She was polite, efficient and just kept going. I realize she was doing the job of at least 3 people. And I also realize you probably won’t pay her for doing the job of 3 people. But, at the very least she should be rewarded with paid time off and all expenses paid for a long weekend or several days in a row. Nothing awards loyalty like true appreciation from the company that you just “saved their reputation”! It’s a tax write off or a vendor incentive. Please show her how much you appreciate her!!
