Twelve Oaks Restaurant & Tavern

We visited Twelve Oaks on a Tuesday evening. 5 people, 4 adults & a child. When the appetizers arrived, we need to ask for another plate & another setting of silverware. (Only brought 4). Never came to check on drinks. Never took the dirty plates. (We took them & set them on the tray after our dinner arrived). Food didn't seem to take too long, but after it arrived, we were not checked on. There were 2 groups of 5 on 1 end of the dining room, a table 2 next to us & a another table at the other end. It was so loud in there, we couldn't hear each other at our table. I did make a to go order, and it was placed when she took out dinner order. We waited for 15 minutes after the checks were paid & our dinner left overs were packed up. The owner was pretty attentive to the table at the other end of the dining room but never made any rounds to the other end. The food was good, no complaints there. But the service needs help. Hire more servers.

What an incredible experience!

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our sons 13th birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served in portions that were just right. You could tell that great care goes into every detail.

What truly made the evening special, though, was the staff. They went above and beyond to make Kage feel celebrated and important on his birthday. Their kindness and attention turned a wonderful dinner into a memory our family will cherish for years.

We also had so much fun exploring the gift shops, which added another layer to the experience. This wasn't just a meal—it was an event. From the atmosphere to the service, the food, and the shopping, every part of our visit was enjoyable.

If you're looking for a place that's more than just a restaurant, this is it. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and a birthday celebration we'll never forget. Highly recommended!

Twelve oaks....ok where do i start well? Upon seeing the Facebook post, I decided that I would visit this place. I should of known from the moment we sat down that I was in for it. When I asked our server, Kaylee, what were the wings shown on Facebook and she told me no idea, its an old picture.... but what the heck. I decided to stick it out and order anyway. So I placed my order for 1.5 dozen wings. After 35 min, I take it was the owner lady, stopped at the table. I explained I have just been waiting for my wings. She leaves Kaylee comes back explaining she got tables up stairs and wasn't able to put my order in yet but would do so soon. So after 55 min, I get my cold food if that wasn't bad enough-who charges a 1.00 for eat in ranch?? I honestly couldn't tell you if the food was good or bad being that it was cold. I have to say below average and a complete waste of time, so save your money and go elsewhere. This place doesn't obviously care about their patrons.

Absolutely incredible. We went on a whim on a random Wednesday, and were blown away- truly! From the incredible historical woodwork to the beautiful shops upstairs to the AMAZING food (ALL of it!) and our friendly waitress, it was truly a 10/10 and we will absolutely be back. Quickly! 🥰🙏

We stopped in at 8:00 on Saturday evening 2/21/26 to eat in the tavern downstairs. The kitchen closed at 8:30. We were warmly welcomed and not made to feel rushed. The entire staff was lovely and made us feel like we were a burden at all. The atmosphere was all around wonderful, old world vibes. We ordered the delicious prime rib, they were out of the baked potato so the chef came up to offer us another side. When I requested french fries with gravy he personally made my gravy to order and delivered the meal personally. My only shock was that we were the only guests. It is a shame because a place with such heart and quality is an asset in a small town and should be filled as so. We are excited to check out their wing specials on Tuesdays and will be enjoying cozy date nights there more often.

I can’t say enough about this restaurant! It’s on our rotation for “special” restaurants for dining upstairs but we also occasionally visit the basement bar (feels like a speakeasy) where they serve the same delicious food in a more casual bar environment. The food is amazing, the chef is attentive, the wait staff and bartenders are informed and kind, and the atmosphere is hard to beat anywhere. If you know Alla Famiglia in Allentown (Pgh neighborhood), it’s a similar gem in a beautiful building in a neighborhood that’s trying to make a comeback. Be the first of your friends to discover this gem. I failed to get a picture of my food because I was too excited but here’s a general vibe of the downstairs eating area. The upstairs dining will make you feel like you walked into a set of Gone With the Wind.

My family and I held an event at Twelve Oakland it was perfect! The atmosphere and beautiful, warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional, I’m a pretty hard critic towards catered food but it was absolutely delicious. The staff worked so hard to make sure we had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

We recently held a Celebration of Life for Bobby Grabowsky at Twelve Oaks, and it was absolutely lovely. The restaurant’s Gone with the Wind era decor created a timeless and elegant atmosphere, perfect for such a meaningful gathering.

We had a private room with a fireplace, and the ambiance was enhanced by a video display honoring Bobby and background music playing through the speakers—a truly touching tribute.

The food was upscale and delicious, and the service was exceptional—attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring. What a great gem! Went here for a wedding reception. Appetizers were Brussel sprouts, stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes and pretzel with cheese. Top tier!!! Dinner I had the ribeye. Came with baby potatoes and carrots. Absolutely delicious. Cooked to absolute perfection. The steak melted like butter. The atmosphere and presentation is very elegant and great for date night.
