The time it took for my family and me to get seated was not long at all, instead it was very fast. Despite the restaurant being almost full, our waiter came to get our orders almost involuntarily. Our waiter was Noe and he was very kind and helpful when it came to choosing our meals. The restaurant has beautiful floral and Mexican decorations on the walls. Overall 5 star experience, I would HIGHLY recommend coming here. ?

This is a BYOB that shares a parking lot with Staples in Bryn Mawr. They do offer complimentary margaritas which were good. They also brought us a basket of crispy tortilla chips and good salsa. They also have Coke products. They have a large menu. We chose the Burrito Azteca and Street Burrito. Both were delicious. Noe was our server. He was friendly and attentive. There are large tables that would be great for big parties of people. We are glad we tried Don Mezcal and look forward to dining there again.

Checks all the boxes for me for a Mexican eatery. Food tastes good, fresh, and has good variety. Menu is extensive, service is fast. The interior is decorated nicely and feels airy. Prices are good, especially the lunch specials. Service is fast and efficient and they give you piping hot chips and salsa. Now this is our go to Mexican place in our neighborhood, which has quite a lot of Mexican eateries.

They did a great job with the decor on the inside. Food came out fast and fresh. I had the mixed fajitas and it was bomb. Kids had a burger and nachos that they actually ate.

I like to try something that you can’t find everywhere else. We ordered crab burritos and the agave chicken tacos. Crab burritos have shrimp and legit blue crab meat. So delicious with the cheese sauce on it. Well worth the price! The chicken tacos were a little sweet with the agave and came with a side of a hot sauce that you don’t need a lot of. Lots of chicken in these! Delicious with the sweet and hot. Wait staff was kind and attentive. I also loved all the artwork inside for the atmosphere. 5 stars and I’ll be back for sure!

Well I’ll start here…we got to Xolo taqueria & tequila bar at 8:21 and the host told us that they couldn’t serve us food because they stopped serving food at 8:30. We didn’t even put up a fight that we had 9min left on the clock to order. We pivoted, and found Don mezcal in Bryn Mawr and was GLAD we did. The food is sooooooo much better than Xolo. Wow!!! We didn’t even know that they were in the neighborhood. By far the best Mexican cuisine in LM. The restaurant is new and clean. The food is fresh and authentic. The service was kind and not rushed. Out with the old and in with new. Oh and let me mention they too closed at 9 and allowed us to sit and eat at 8:30pm. Thank you Don Mezcal. By far the best Mexican cuisine in Lower Merion! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Simply outstanding. Superior service. Beautiful atmosphere. Kind and friendly service staff. This is my new favorite restaurant. Highly highly highly recommend for couples, families and groups…all can be accommodated and you will leave satisfied and happy. Seriously I might be in love with this place.
