I liked the food and the beer selection better pre-covid but still a solid spot for good pub food and a few brewsKid-friendliness: We met friends and had five kids between us -- the lively atmosphere, ample seating, and patient staff definitely makes this a kid-friendly spot on a Friday evening.

My boyfriend and I have been to Garrett Ale House a few times for Sunday brunch and we decided to check it out for dinner. Unfortunately I don’t think we will return for dinner. We’ve had good experiences with our Sunday brunch visits but last night for dinner was just disappointing. I got a few drinks and while both of those were good, the food was disappointing. It took us over an hour after ordering to get our meals. I got the caprese panini which I was so looking forward to trying, but the bread was soggy and cold and my fries were cold. My boyfriend ordered the marry-me chicken and while he said it tasted good we just wished the portion size could’ve been slightly bigger. We were given the check and had to wait for 25 minutes before someone came over for us to pay our bill. We’ve never had a problem during brunch and will likely return for brunch, but I can’t say the same about dinner here. Our server was super friendly and it was not her fault at all that they seem to be understaffed

Cute little pub vibe and the food is solid. It can get a little crowded at times, but the staff is all very friendly and accommodating.

First time visit. My wife and I loved the food (salmon and cod) with broccoli and yellow rice, nice tavern-like atmosphere. Great spot for a date night. We'll definitely be going again.

The food was good, however the waiter reaked of cigarettes. It was unpleasant. The thing that really bothered me was four dollars for a soda! I know ... everything is more expensive since COVID, but soda from a gun for four bucks - that is nuts.

The waiter was super chill and the brunch menu at dinner time helped me reminisce of my yummy egg sandwhich I had earlier this morning. The bathroom experience was to die for as the shower curtain substituting for a standard bathroom stall kept me on my toes as I never knew when a fellow customer may mistakenly walk in on me dropping logs. The bathroom experience kept me guessing as there were no toilet paper either. Truly a thrilling experience overall and I’d highly recommend. Flip and Baileys could never live up to this level of class and status.

Last night, my boyfriend and I had dinner here and it was a very negative experience. We got Nachos, which were a $15 handful of Tortilla chips with unseasoned black beans, three charred jalapeños slices, melted American cheese, served on tin foil. I got the meat loaf, which was incredibly salty, burnt, and had the odd aftertaste of cigarettes. My boyfriend had the burger, which was overpriced and just ok. We understand that service was slow due to understaffing, but it was disappointing to wait so long for food that was not good.

I have NEVER had a bad experience at this place. Patrick and his crew (Shoutout to Bernie who fills in on Sunday Brunch). The Ribs are AMAZING, the Burgers are sooooo GOOD, and it’s my go to spot for Sunday Brunch. If you have not been there, you are MISSING out , BIG TIME!!!!

Good Bar food, I love the chicken wings, but we went there a month ago for brunch and sat at the bar, and ordered French Toast and a Texas Toast Grilled Cheese with Egg. My french toast was completely uncooked except for the crust, and it was so soggy and eggy. The Texas toast, it was plain Italian white bread instead not texas toast, and it was not even grilled or toasted for that matter. I tried to reach out to the manager three times by phone, but every time I was told she doesn't work on weekends or Monday. The bartender was friendly, but did not catch any of these mistakes before we pointed it out. Plus gave us a bloody mary in a cracked glass which she had to make again. I couldn't eat my dish because it was uncooked and we waited so long for it in the first place, so she took that off the bill which was fine. However, we waited longer than it should have taken for food neither of could eat. I might go back for just bar food.
