“On Wednesday, August 27, in the midst of one of the most difficult days of my life as I coordinated hospice care for my father, I stopped at La Playa Bowls to find some nourishment. I hadn’t eaten all day, and what I received was far more than just a meal.

“One of my favorite bowls and smoothie stores around this area. They have a large variety of selections between the two. Excellent preparation time for whatever item you choose to order.Also, a very friendly staff with excellent customer service A+ establishment.“

“I ordered this to be delivered to the 30th train station. I was in Philly for my commute to see friends and wanted to see if Philly has a vegan cheeses teak. I really enjoyed this meal, but wish I could have tried it straight out of the kitchen. I could tell that I wasn't really getting the best tastes with the sandwich having cooled down.

I wanted to travel to this location, but decided to have it delivered after asking a Philly native. I was told that the restaurant was in West Philly, and they themselves didn't feel safe there and advised I don't go there. Proceed with caution.“

“Somehow forgot to review this joint…so here it goes! Had the Greek toast and it was fabulous! It wasn’t a huge portion being that I’m a man but I hammered that toast like it was John Stamos!!! It was served on a wood cutting board which was cool but some of the toppings kept falling off and onto the table! I would have ate the pieces that fell on the table but I have a wood allergy!! My daughter got a bowl but I don’t remember which one! That was delicious too because I ended up eating most of that(she didn’t like it)!! I went home and did the treadmill…blood tests always say pre diabetic 🤷🏾. The coffee was delicious as well!! Have to give a huge shout out to the granola they have!!!!!! It was in my daughter’s bowl and it was the best granola ever!!!! We ate outside which was very nice and the one couple had their dog with them!!! I looked at that dog and said Hey Dog O, heheheee!!!! The whole Ellis Preserve is a great spot and Toastique is a must visit!!!!“

This juice bar is so inviting from the decor to the wonderful employees behind the counter. I love that they wrote such a positive message on my smoothie cup, the little details don’t go unnoticed! The smoothie is filled with such clean and delicious ingredients and I took a cold press juice to go. My group also purchased açaí bowls and they also had rave reviews! A must try for myself next time I’m in town. We all felt satisfied and had such great energy throughout the rest of the day.
