I’m furious my partner has a severe dairy allergy and we were so excited to order from here since they have a way to indicate allergies on the website. We placed an order and I indicated both on the sandwich and in my order note that we needed that sandwich to be dairy free. Our receipt reflected that the sandwich for my partner was dairy free I even asked when picking it up and the person at the register pointed to the “dairy allergy” note on the receipt as if I were being overly cautious. I drove 35 minutes home after a long day of work, we sat down to eat dinner and my partner’s sandwich had cheese on it. He is not lactose intolerant, he has an allergy that makes him very sick if he has even a small amount of dairy.

I’m furious.

We came to Lovebird in Bryn Mawr. Food was amazing! Service was great! We ordered a “create your own “ chicken sandwich: fried chicken, lettuce, pickles, cheese and lovebird sauce. 10/10. We also ordered the 2 piece white chicken with a side of coleslaw. 10/10. The chicken was very juicy and flavorful. We are definitely coming back! Highly recommend!

This is my second review of this place. I love this place. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly. This helps me stay GF . When I became GF a year ago, I decided that some foods, I could never have again but Lovebird is offering delicious GF options and I do not feel that missing out. The food is very tasty!

The vibes are great at this place. It is extremely clean, smells like great food, and the cashier was very friendly.

The food was done at a pretty fast pace since this isn't a fast food place, and they had a ton of pickup orders. The food was fresh, and very hot so they made it to order.

I ordered a Nashville Hot, and the sandwich size was a great portion, but it was not Nashville Hot. It was a regular chicken sandwich, the coleslaw was tasty and crispy. But it was pretty dry, and not much sauce on it. It was not spicy or hot at all.

The reason for the 2 stars, is this sandwich gave me hot diarrhea. It made my stomach hurt and was painful. Nothing else in my diet changed, I eat the same foods (at home) everyday and decided to eat this for a change since I was visiting...and chose it over McD's which was across the street (hindsight should have stuck to McDonalds tbh). It completely caught me off guard.

This is my second time here and the first time, i ordered the wrap, it was okay. Today I ordered the 4 piece chicken and it was delicious. Even if you are not GF, I'm sure you will love this chicken. It was fresh, extra crispy, clean( the oil was clean) and seasoned well. I. Also ordered the house sauce and the buffalo sauce, they both we superb. This is my new chicken place for sure. You gave to give this place a try, you wont be disappointed

It's so hard to find gluten free fried chicken, but love bird is amazing and knowledgeable on allergies! I live like 40 minutes away but it's worth it to me to get good gluten free food that I can trust. The Mac and cheese and onion rings are also very good. I need to try the fried pickles next time I go! The fact that everything aside from the bread is gluten free is really amazing. And usually that would make me nervous because cross contamination but everyone I've talked to at lovebird seems to be educated on food allergies and how to keep things safe. I love the popcorn chicken so much. I really can't recommend lovebird enough, thank you guys for giving me good gluten free fries chicken!

Ps, if you opened a location closer to Delco, I'd be there like once a week. I know other celiacs/gluten free people who'd love it too. Just something to consider:)

Got a bowl from here and it was 90% lettuce and 10% meat and other toppings. Very disappointed.

Food used to be amazing but now the portion sizes are ridiculously small considering the cost. I ordered fried pickles and got exactly 8 pieces for $6 which absolutely insane. I’d consider returning if the portion sizes improve.

I’ve been here a couple of times for chicken sandwiches, Mac & cheese, and the fried pickles. They make everything from scratch here which I really appreciate. They use clean ingredients as well. The chicken is cooked well also. I recommend it for a healthier meal on the go!

Had a situation with my card using the app so they manually charged it as app was not taking it but their register was. The staff was exceptionally helpful and personally delivered the food to our door despite not being able to order through the app. They went above and beyond tonight to be extra helpful.
