Well trained staff though few in number on this Monday night, the service did not suffer at all, and the teamwork (which always impresses me) was evident. Anthony at the door (and pretty much anyplace else he was needed) and our server John worked seamlessly and professionally. Yet a third person brought our dinner, likely to ensure it was delivered timely and hot. I mean these folks were moving with a sense of mission. In my long experience this never happens by accident. Someone in senior management is screening staff for affability and work ethic AND most importantly customer driven attitude - then supplying effective training. Anthony and John are both fine ambassadors for Gullifty's. My wife had a quiche and salad while I opted for the filet tips accompanied by perfectly flavored mashed potatoes and a sherry cram sauce. John wisely advised that, if as stated I wished my filet tips medium rare, would I mind if the tenderloin tips were delivered 'on the side' as otherwise they might wind up overcooked in the sauce. Very much appreciated - and definitely customer-focused. He read me well, determined how best to address my preferences. Good for the kitchen, good for the customer, and good for the operation. By today's standard I considered the value (defined as the relationship of the entire experience and the $$$ charged for same) was superior.

We were in the mood for cheesesteaks and decided to try Guliftys in Rosemont, PA. First visit. There only options offered were fried onions, which should have been a clue; no peppers, mushrooms etc. The cheesesteak arrived on a bland roll. The whole sandwich was bland and a big disappointment. Never again!

We stopped by Gullifty's for lunch - since it was hot outside, we decided to sit inside with AC. Indoor seating has a Sports bar feeling with plenty of TVs. The Beets & Goat Cheese salad didn't had enough of Beets or Goat Cheese, but we enjoyed the Potato Skins appetizer. Staff are friendly and food comes out quickly.

Inedible food and the service is worse. Stay away. It’s a shame how this place went downhill. Pizza is dry. Hummus is vomit colored and tastes worse than that.

We were in the mood for the chocolate mousse pie, so we went to Gullifty’s for dinner. We were able to sit outside. Jack was our server. We told him that we wanted to split the nachos, the pulled pork BBQ sandwich, and a piece of chocolate mousse pie. When our meals were brought to the table, each dish was already split on separate plates for us. I was really delighted about this. They also have a full bar and Coke products. There’s a large parking lot. There’s also an indoor part of the restaurant.

Poor menu choices. Absent bartender due to the fact that she has to do everything besides tending customers. Chicken was dry. No lunch menu so be prepared to pay full price.

My wife and I met a friend for drinks here. They were short-staffed (probably not their fault as servers have been slow to return to work after restaurants reopened), so we had to wait awhile. The drinks were good. I recommend The Cure, a fruity, rummy cocktail.

We ordered the spanakopita and galatopita for Christmas and both pies were outstanding.

Just picked up I first Pita Pie - the Tiropita. It was warm, smelled amazing on the ride home and it didn’t last a minute once in the door before it was cut into. Delicious with the perfect, flakey crust. Just ordered the Spanakopita to serve Christmas Eve! Thank you Chef Frances.

During COVID you are sometimes lucky to find a place that will take walk-ins without a reservation. So yeah, it was nice we found an outside table with little to no wait. Food? Well, my son's hand-cut salmon was dry. You didn't need glasses to see that and his double side of Brussels sprouts was missing about a side's worth. He said it tasted good though I could see he was being way too polite (Dad paid). My Nashville hot chicken sandwich was anything but hot. Really, it was a fried breast on a roll with pickles. Taste like fried chicken? Yes. Taste like "Nashville hot"? Nope, not even close. Services - good all things considered. Prices - $$-ish?? Go back again? Maybe if I'm in the Main Line area.

This is located within 15 minutes of Villanova University. I was able to use Open Table to reserve a table for my niece and me. I haven’t seen such a diverse menu in awhile. It was difficult making our lunch choices. Ultimately, my niece selected the hummus plate and a side of fries. I decided I would have the short rib sandwich next time. The crab cake sandwich was divine. It came with a pickle and Old Bay fries. I wish I could remember our server’s name. She truly made our experience phenomenal. It’s nice to have a restaurant like this close to the University. The entrance to the restaurant is not the best. Meaning there are doors and the Hostess Station is literally right there. There is not much room. Also, it is a bit louder than some restaurants. There’s a nice tv or TVs’ at the bar and people were very excited about whatever game they were watching. Gullifty’s has a great website. I suggest checking it out! We will be going back. Soon.

Booked this as a surprise for our sons 21st. We live in England and he is at college here in Philly. He had no idea we were coming out and the staff went out of their way to help with the surprise when he arrived. Our server Kathy was brilliant and to top it all the food was fabulous. Well worth a visit
