Pasta was amazing! Great service by Hillary! Will definitely come back:)
We have rated at Otto several times. It has always been a good experience but a little pricey. The room is very nice and the service is efficient. A recent lunch was a bit disappointing. Although the food was still good the gnocchi had obviously been microwaved. I say that based on its appearance at the table in less than 5 minutes and the burns on the roof of my mouth. At a place like this I do expect my food to be cooked to order and not reheated. Note that there is not a separate lunch and dinner menu.
Rude, dismissive service. We were the only people there for lunch. We will never go back. Too bad. The food is good.
service was great even though waitress was new. great buratta salad. i loved my chicken fabrizio and i had a side of spaghetti in a pink sauce that was the best sauce i’ve had in quite a while .
The food was delicious but the worst service ever! The waiter was unfriendly and downright miserable. He treated us like he was doing us a favor by serving us. I was extremely uncomfortable and hesitant to ask for anything. I’ve been here many times and love the food, but this time left a bad taste.
Went here with high expectations, but were greatly disappointed. We had pasta and chicken dishes and they were all subpar. The carbonara was overly sauced and creamy and our chicken dishes were just okay. Our fried tomato appetizer was actually the only good dish. And, key lime pie - special dessert for the evening was just horrible. And, don't get me started on the exorbitant prices for the items. This restaurant is severely overpriced for what you get and no wonder more than half of the restaurant was empty. I wish we would have avoided our experience.
Tasted even better than expected.
We had great food and great service for our party of 7 for my daughter's graduation dinner. We all loved the red sauce on the pasta. Very light and delicious.
Love this place and it's classic Italian American vibe. Pure comfort and quiet charm. I have only been for lunch (no special lunch menu, but still good value for the experience). BYOB.
Great experience. We enjoyed the fried tomato and Burrata appetizer, which was a special that evening. My chicken francaise was perfect, and my companion loved the chicken Parm. The serving sizes are generous. It was a busy evening as there were multiple graduations happening in the area, but the service was very good - highly recommend.

This was our third time here, and while the food is excellent, they really need to work on their service. We waited at the front door for over five minutes without being greeted, with other parties crowding in behind us, everyone wondering what was going on. When the host finally came into the vestibule there was no eye contact, no “thank you for waiting”, nothing. We gave our name and asked if it was possible to sit outside—the host grabbed 6 menus and said something to a waitress outside in Spanish, completely ignoring our ask. She came inside and pushed two tables together—we asked again and were ignored and ushered inside. We were there to celebrate our daughter's graduation and didn't want to make a fuss so we didn't. We were greeted by someone who poured us water fairly quickly, but then waited a very long time before our waiter introduced himself. We asked for the specials but he wanted to open our wine first, which he did but then did not pour for us, which I thought was odd. Then he disappeared again for what felt like too long. We finally heard the specials, placed our orders and then were brought bread—which was stale (both baskets). The food came out quickly and was delicious. We had burrata and arugula salad and then chicken piccata, a clam and pasta dish, gnocchi, a seafood special and a striped bass and it was all delicious. Dessert was cannolis and a gluten free chocolate lava cake. Decaf cappuccinos were lukewarm, but all the other food was superb. When the bill came the waiter stood behind me when it was time to push the percentage for the tip which was uncomfortable. I would have given 15% but gave 20% because he was right there watching. Overall, I might return for the food and I would definitely order in from here, but the service needs work! If they can get that right, this will be a favorite spot.
Not normal for them but I had to get a pitcher to refill our water while we were one of only two tables seated inside. Very disappointing since it was a Birthday dinner which even after stating that on reservation and when we arrived was never acknowledged.
The Italian food here is truly authentic. This is our second visit and the meal has been exemplary both times. We've tried the octopus appetizer, gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce, osso bucco and halibut special. All were excellent. I recommend Otto by Polpo to all lovers of Italian cuisine.
We arranged a birthday dinner with another couple at Otto by Polpo. All four of us felt our meals were outstanding! The salads, main course and desserts were delicious. We will return again soon!
We had a great dining experience at Otto! The chicken Parmesan was absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The side of pasta with oil and garlic was simple yet outstanding, with just the right balance of flavors. Our server, Hillary, was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The portions were very generous—definitely enough to take home and enjoy for lunch the next day.
