Wonderful restaurant with delicious food. The waiter was so attentive and so lovely and helpful with the menu. My stuffed flounder was so tasty. It was the best sea food I ever tasted in my life.

My wife and I visited this great BYOB at the suggestion of my coworker. Some how we had missed this little gem though it was only a few minutes from our hone. Nick our waiter did a great job. He was attentive and personable with a smile. He sold us both on the specials. We were both glad he did. She has the veal short rib and I the seafood pasta fra diavlo. Good portions, not overly sauced; very tasty.
Food and service were amazing. Generally not a large place so noice level was pretty high. As it cleared out, it was better. All entrees were great portions and delicious. Their dessert and coffee selection was even amazing.

At a recent luncheon, the food was excellent. One party ordered an appetizer to be shared, and after a long wait, the waiter delivered the wrong thing. He became argumentative and had the audacity to ask people if they heard what he heard at the time of the order (they did not). This is a waiter who did not write down the order, but apparently was sure he could remember it accurately. When we finally got our correct order, it was excellent. At the end of our meal, we waited a long time while every other table was cleared to get our check.

Clam chowder was more like vegetable chowder, few clams. Service was very slow.. I had to remind the waiter we had asked for bread which came as our lunch ended and was tasteless since otherwise ok bread had been heated or toasted so was dry. I have been to the restaurant several times. Slow service is a continuing problem.

Otto By Polpo never disappoints! The food is always consistently wonderful (Carciofi with speck!)! Waiters and staff are full of personality and fun, yet professional. We will continue to eat here regularly!

1st time here was last night: Valentines Day! Such a great impression when my wife was greeted by the host and she received a red rose! very classy! The food, service and atmosphere was impeccable! Very nicely done...I think this is our new favorite restaurant!
We enjoyed our dinner and service was very good. My wife was a bit disappointed in her clam appetizer and seafood pasta, both served in the same sauce, which she said had very little flavor. Other than that all of the other meals were very good, and we will be back.
Four of us went for dinner . Our server was courteous and helpful. Service was very good. The food is outstanding. I had excellent veal piccata with a side of tender linguine. Scallops wrapped in crisp bacon were delicious. My husband had a delicious halibut main course with a sauce of artichokes, capers and tomatoes in lemon beurre blanc. Our friends had chicken piccata and tasty clams and pasta. Three of us had out of this world tiramisu and one friend had a delicious raspberry cream dessert. The noise level was fine. We were seated near a window in a corner and conversation was easy. This is a great white tablecloth BYOB. We highly recommend this delightful place.

I like this restaurant but I feel It charges a bit more than most restaurants and as you know on open table we are out to dinner almost every night! Still water is over proved and if I want to sub a vegetable it's a very high up charge but I go back because the ppl who work there are amazing especially Nick and Adriana! The food is good as well! And for us we love byob restaurants!
